Karmacat: I'm passionate about my DFW journey to riches

Yeah, to me thats *not* a pleasant bit - I like giving, as long as I like the present I'm giving or think they will - but I have to choose my times to shop very carefully, cos I *hate* the way the shops get. Good look with the process!
I'm feeling a bit harrassed today, I've gone a bit overboard with the dfw-ness - I've got two mystery shops in the morning, and I'll have to delay the first session by half an hour. And I've got a total four hours work-work this afternoon, finishing at 6. Then I'll have to input the shops. This is really intense, and I'm a bit worried about doing it all. And I don't know when I'm going to manage to eat - praps on the bus on the way home from the mystery shops? Definite worry. Its manageable, of course, but ... argh... and meantime I'm living in a tip and not eating very well. Whoops. A bit of life balance required, methinks.
*And* I'm worried about the quidco payments and the RE payments not going out. Is all this work worth it? Are they going to go bust? I can't bear the thought of all this work being for nothing.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

Welcome to my world :rotfl:
Don't worry about quidco and RE - my RE money went in today, and remember that anything that pays out on 1st month will be late in because 1st was not a working day, so the reality is that it won't leave their bank account until Monday (yesterday) and if it takes 3-5 working days to arrive in your bank, that may not be until the end of the week.
That said, if it is causing you that much worry, then don't do them! If it is stressing you out, then it is a waste of your energy for a few £££.
Hope your day goes well, I am sure you will fit it all in.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Hi KC - ditto that. Don't let it stress you out and don't forget to eat! If you can't fit them in, you can't fit them in - you're in control here

These are such nice messages to come back to! Thank you all. Boy, when we talk about support on here, here it is in action. I've managed everything so far, its fine, am now stuffing my face at 1.15, not working till 2.30. I *did* give myself a few heartstoppers along the way - I thought I was going to manage to do everything without delaying my client, so I didn't phone them, then couldn't remember if I'd remembered the time of the session correctly (cos I forgot my diary, erk) ... but it was okay. And I would've been home half an hour earlier, but the bus broke down, wonderful. As it was, I got in 5 minutes before client turned up, and all was super-duper well. I am *very* thankful.
PS free mince pie at the mystery shop!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
Free mince pie, well that is good going....sluuurpp. I have to physically force myself to go past them and resist the urge to bake them, or add mince mix to apple sponge...oh dear i think i am getting a bit obsessed again.:rotfl: :rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?

:rotfl: That sounds lovely, to have mincemeat added to apple sponge. Yum.
I'm giving myself another few heartstoppers here. I've finally finished for the day, got some veg cooked that I threw together, and my batteries on my camera are shattered, I need to download the piccy I took of the place before I can do anything. And before the batteries finally collapsed, they got to the end of the set of pix, and I couldn't see today's pix on there at all. They don't just disappear, do they? I'm already stressing cos I forgot to check the roast date at the shop ... I'm definitely overdoing it  there's all sorts of stuff today that I'm just scraping by on.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
My RE top tip......
...you will end up visiting the same places several times over the next few months - have a stock of photos in a file on your PC that you can just access a relevant store photo when you file your report, which means you only need to remember to take your camera/have batteries etc when you visit somewhere new.
Plus, you don't need the roast date if you have your receipt - if you put your receipt details in, it won't ask for the roast date.........Successful women can still have their feet on the ground.
