help needed please!

hi all,
ok i recently took a ccontract out for a samsung galaxy s7 on three with mobile phones direct.
I received the phone used it for a maximum of half an hour but coming from an iphone decided the phone wasnt for me. My own stupid fault i suppose for not having a look at android phones properly before changing. Anyway i contacted mobile phones direct and explained i wished to return the phone and terminate the contract. After a lot of huffing and puffing they agreed as i was well in the 14 day cooling off period. i took pictures of the phone and accessories before sending as although the phone had been out of the box for half an hour max i wanted my own piece of mind should anything go wrong.
Mobile phones direct received my handset (i only found this out by tracking the parecel) and a week later i got an email to say they are refusing the return as when the phone was inspected they found a dent on the phone housing!!!!!!!
I couldnt beleive it. There is absolutely no way in this world the damage, if there actually is any, happened when that phone was in my posession.

My question is is there anything i can do about this? i have pictures of the phone shopwing no damage before posting but it seems it could be my word against theirs! I dont think its fair im stuck with a contract i dont want just because they are either lying about the damage knowing by the time i get it back it will be too late or they have damaged it thmeselves.

any advice would be much appreciated

Check your pictures to make sure they haven't sent you a damaged phone in the first place. Are you sure the phone they sent was all sealed in its original packaging, could they have sent you a refurbished phone with damage?
Ask them for a picture. They accepted the parcel and presumably signed for it, was there any damage to the parcel when they received it? Send them the pictures you took before sending it, proving it was perfect.
email the ceo richard.baxendale@mobilephonesdirect.co.uk and explain the issue and clearly state what you want to happen.
