  • Over the last week:
    £6.62 ebay profits
    £4.00 cashout from Crowdology
    68p from CitizenMe
so I'm £48.42 up so far this month.
  • Back to reality today, back to work and my back is killing me. :(

Even missed my favourite yoga class tonight as I think it would only make it worse.

Just checked shop and scan and had enough points to cash out £10 to Amazon.

Tips were abysmal and amounted to £3.35

    £13.35 Total

Jess.................big hugs to you XXXX Things can only get better for you. Surely you have had all your bad luck and things will get better once the anti biotics kick in for little one.

As CBC said......It WILL pass even though you think it never will.
Hope the coming week isnt too bad for you X

Sorry to her about your back, KM. At first I thought you'd been overdoing the digging and heavy work on your allotment ready for the growing season but with the weather being as it was:eek: I doubt there were many days when it was possible to get out there and do much.

    I hope you'll be feeling 100% again soon:beer:

No........nothing done at the allotment. Am well behind there. One of my greenhouses has had quite a few panes of glass blown through with the high winds and I need to get there to at least clear that up.

I think I have probably overdone it with the yoga. Im tall (6ft) and suffered with lower back pain on and off for as long as I can remember, I love yoga but sometimes feel it puts a lot of strain on lower back. :(

Oh, I do envy you for being tall. I can just manage 5 ft 2 when I stretch myself up so much it hurts. At least I always was that height but when I was last measured by a nurse on a professional scale for a Well Woman Clinic I was slightly under that:(. I expect it's because we all shrink with age:eek:. My Mum was always 5 ft 4 but had shrunk to be tiny by the time she died at 87.

being short can be a nightmare especially when trying to reach high shelves in supermarkets. I used to have a chest freezer and drying up the melted water from the bottom after defrosting resulted in me practically falling in:rotfl:. I couldn't reach to the bottom with my feet on the ground, even on tiptoe:eek:. I have to stand on a stool even to unscrew my car aerial when I go to the carwash. No chance of washing the roof of my car without a stool either and it's anything but a tall car. I keep one of those fold-up stools in my car boot at all times;)
  • I would quite willingly let you have a few inches CBT :D

I like being tall but a few inches shorter so I could wear heels would be perfect. Guess none of us is completely happy with what we have.

  • Well Well Well, that's a turn up for the books, so many times people say they will be round to pick items up but never make it. Something always crops up. I sold an item and someone collected it.
    £15 Gumtree.
A good start to the week.
    Hope everyone is ok xx

Yoga shouldn't put strain on your lower back. if it is you need to tell your teacher and they need to check your positioning.

you may want to consider also looking at pilates. that is very good for strengthening the core and would work well with yoga.

(says she who needs to lose weight and has done nothing about it!)

Just hold on to the belief that even the blackest times will pass eventually:j. One day you'll be able to look back if not with a smile then with the satisfaction that you all came out the other side unscathed.

    Take care xxx

    ^^^^^^^^^ this, just this ^^^^^^^^^^^

I spent two years waking up every 2 hours for DS as he didn't feed well. I was so glad at that time I wasn't working as wouldn't have coped with going out to work. I did avon and bit of mystery shopping to bring money in.

Now, I cannot get the little blighter to get up for school in the morning but he is as fresh as a daisy at the weekend!

promise you it will get easier. short term doesn't look like it. it will xx
