Oh no Foxgloves, I hope you have a speedy recovery from your fall, it's horrible isn't it and so embarrassing at the time  but thank the gods you haven't broken anything xxx

I hope you're OK tomorrow @foxgloves.  I know drink wasn't involved but in my twenties I got wasted with a friend and we fell down a full flight of stairs into the gutter in Covent Garden outside the bar.  Some tramps came to help us up..I am still grateful.   Don't drink above half a glass of bubbly every 6 months now.  Quiet times on the sofa is my advice and totally agree re arnica.  Love Humdinger xx

I too fell flat on my face whilst carrying two bags of shopping - tripped on the pavement.  So embarrassing ☹️    Even worse was trying to explain my fat lip and general bashed about look to concerned friends 🙂.  I was bruised for days so I feel for you. Take care
  • Hope you are feeling better today after your fall Foxgloves. It really leaves you shaken doesn’t it. Well jealous of your ten pound haircut. After I left work I stopped going to the ludicrously expensive salon I used to go to for a cut and colour, gave up on colour completely and had a nine pound dry cut at a salon recommended by my sister. Sadly after covid the salon no longer offers dry cuts and a cut and blow dry has gradually increased from 18 to 30 pounds! It will probably rise again in the New Year.
  • Hi Foxgloves, hope you are feeling much better and dont have too many aches and pains.  take care x
  • How are you feeling today? Hope you're ok. x

  • Sorry to hear you have fallen @foxgloves I hope your bruises are few and fade quickly.

When I have fallen or had other accidents I always need time to mentally assess and rebalance before getting off the floor.

On a different note, do you @foxgloves or one of your fantastic readers know if I can make mince pies and freeze them raw so I can cook them as and when we want them? Also, can they be cooked from frozen?
