Happy Easter dear readers - whether you celebrate the resurrection of the son of your God, the turning of the wheel into the fresh green loveliness of Spring or simply enjoy some much needed family or rest time', I hope you have a lovely day.

Hello Diary readers.....well, actually I hope you are all doing something far more interesting on a BH than reading my diary!
A few bits of frugal activity today amidst some leisure time:
*Decent amount of rubber lamb activity divvying up the l/o meat from yesterday's roast - will stretch to at least 4 portions of lamb bhuna, which I have promised Mr F I will make tonight, 2 portions of spicy lamb pittas with salad, some stew & stock.
*Two baths from 1 lot of hot water & damp bath towels pegged outside on whirlygig to air for free.
*Also free drying as put a load of laundry on first thing & pegged it out. I am quite a politicised person of the Left, but I have to say that even pegging out is feeling like two fingers up at the big energy companies who are raking in.large profits while the rest of us are faced with hideous tariff increases.
*Sowed red spring onions & watercress.
*Finished craft kit I was given by a family member who cba to make it. Think I will gift it to my best friend for Christmas.
*Synchronised diaries for the week ahead with Mr F & looked at a couple of future days where I could do with having the car.....tho I was rather stymied by the antediluvian local booking system for breast screening..I think I got too used to popping online & booking covid jab appointment so speedily.
*Mr F continued clearing an annoying run of overgrowth under our long garden hedge....we certainly make full use of our paid for council garden waste bin service. If it's not rammed to the top, I don't feel we've had our money's worth.
Now sitting on pondside bench just about to start a book I found in our local charity bookshop. Intend to put feet up & read to sound of gently croaking frogs until it's time to go & make that promised curry.
Love to all,

That sounds like a lovely day on the whole Foxgloves, and very productive 😊
Nothing more interesting happening here - far less interesting in fact! Sitting out with the frogs sounds very jolly 😊6 -
Happy BH. I’ve spent the day cutting up my partners huge 60th birthday cake. I’m gifting lots to all the friends and family who were so generous sending gifts and cards . I may have nibbled on a few crumbs 🤣🤣🐷5

You'll be fine, @marionmgcars, because when you cut a cake, most of the calories just leak straight out.
