Hello m'dears,
Another productive day:
Did the ironing, baked bread rolls & pizza, made sweetcorn fritters with some vile tinned sweetcorn to use it up, ordered 2 more presents (used £30 of vouchers), made a definitive plan of what I intend to buy for Mr F, wrote 15 Christmas cards, which isn't many, but it's a start, & knitted a bit more birthday present.
I did get side-tracked by a couple of things, which I shall try to avoid tomorrow, when I am hoping to get the sewing machine out.

another good productive day yesterday, crossed a few more off my list. the sun is shining today so makes me feel so much more energetic - starting the day taking my furry friend over the fields and then back to my list!!
Have a good busy day Foxgloves x
Pixiehouse it all looks lovely, I love cross stitch as well just starting a project for christmas pressie but knitting is my thing.
Have a lovely day and stay safe on your travels x5 -
No need to feel guilty about buying a sewing kit, @Pixiehouse55, you'll need a project for the evenings & you can't get at your stored stuff. Enjoy stitching!
I'm a knitter too, @Four_Seasons. I've dabbled in lots of other crafts over the years, but knitting is what I am best at & most enjoy. Glad to hear you had a productive Tuesday.

Evening all,
Am keeping on with my week of productivity. In fact, I've only just sat down! So today's achievements:
- Ordered another 6 presents & researched 2 others.
- Made beef stock in the slow cooker with a pack of bones from the butcher. So much meat on them, I had enough for tomorrow's packed lunch sandwich.
- Paid piano tuner using holiday budget underspend.
- Did meal plans for next week.
- Wrote grocery shopping list.
- Knitted a bit more birthday present.
- Made new landing curtain. Decided to use lining after all. Hadn't got any, so shopped from home by unpicking the lining from the old curtains, which was in good condition, & re-using.
- Delegated making Hairy Biker vegetable & lentil curry to Mr F so that I could.......
-Hem, iron & hang new curtain.
- Measured linen cupboard doorway for matching door curtain, which I intend to make tomorrow.
Looking forward to 'Shetland' & a latte now.
Night all,
F x

Hi @foxgloves sounds like you've been busy as ever! I had it in mind to have a sort out this week but as usual a few things have gotten in the way, a house full of covid for start! Which has led to quite a few extreme early morning/frequent wake ups courtesy of little boy, who has been quite poorly the poor little mite. But we seem to have turned a corner, I made some bread and a load of oaty biscuits today, and put clean sheets on in addition to childcare /homeschool/ working from home. Apart from the bare minimum of keeping everyone fed and watered and cleaning the kitchen, that's it! Will do better tomorrow I think. So I will join in with you and @Four_Seasons if you don't mind! I need the inspiration otherwise it's going to be a disorganised cluttered Christmas!6
