@foxgloves reading about your crusade against food waste has inspired me to look at this myself. We're in a veg box delivery scheme. All lovely, but I think in the name of variety, I've been over ordering. So have decided to rein it in and make sure that it's all eaten every week, apart from items that need to ripen. Money left over from the food budget can then go into savings. Thanks for setting the rabbit running love Humdinger x

He does walking workouts with a dance twist and there’s a step counter. Great to do without having to leave the house if the weather is bad. He’s rather easy on the eye too although he never stops talking 😆

Hi @foxgloves just popping on to say hello, I've still been reading along but not signed in so haven't commented. Exciting that the renovations are complete and you get your house back, shiny and polished! We are still in the midst and feels like one step forwards two steps back sometimes. Re:homelessness it's a shocking marker of our society that we allow people to be on the streets. I don't understand it. I've been reading "the salt road" by Raynor Winn and she touches on it a lot, thought provoking stuff and a decent read in case it floats anyone's boat!

I’m behind on diaries again, but as I was attempting to declutter my house again for what seems the millionth time (too much stuff bought when I was younger), I read a comment online which reminded me of your diary and myself.
It said that there is a difference between liking something and buying it. Just because you like something it doesn’t mean you have to buy it.
In my younger years I used to buy whatever I liked and ended up with too much stuff. I didn’t end up with debt and did save etc, but I bought more than I needed. It’s a mindset of if I like it I should buy it as I work hard, deserve it etc. I’m sure that is also propagated by all the advertising out there. It’s absolutely ok to like something and not buy it - it took me a while to change that mindset…
