I’m afraid it’s only going to get worse next week after the budget comes out ☹️I find it really frustrating that I can do absolutely nothing about it. On a more positive note - anyone any good ideas for using up plums in puddings/cakes? I’m not being very imaginative and don’t want to make crumbles all the time!2025 decluttering: 4,462 🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅🌟2025 use up challenge: 350🥉🥈🥇💎🏆Mini freezer challenge +1/-20Big kitchen declutter challenge 115/1502025 decluttering goals I Use up Challenge: 🥉365 🥈750 🥇1,000 💎2,000 🏆 3,000 👑 8,000 I 🥉12 🥈26 🥇52 💎 100 🏆 250 👑 5003

I hope you get a better response from your MP than I do from ours who is full of waffle and rubbish to put it politely.

Hellooo everyone. Well, wherever we go we wear our masks. A lot of people don't seem to be bothering, almost like they think covid has gone. My daughter was telling me that friends of there's got coving. Children as well, they done online shopping, washed/wiped everything down, wore masks etc. And still got it! So you just don't know do you?
Foxgloves, you saying about colours of walls and so, when I was with my children's Dad we went to view a house. Different colour in every room. Lime green, orange, purple, turquoise. Instantly put me off the house lol.
Fingers crossed next Friday, our narrowboat Squires will be put back in the water. We want to be there when it happens and I can video it or take photo's. We are in a different touring site today for 3 days. Most of today was getting measurements of the back panel of the shutters as a bit of wet rot in one(not bad for 21 years old) We are going to get all four done. And taking more photos of it so we can sit down and work out the colours for Squire's when we get her painted next year, all in all another good and exciting day.

I think people have had enough of the restrictions regarding Covid and want things back to normal. People can still wear masks, disinfect hands entering and leaving shops, cafes etc but sadly alot of of them don’t. Yes the government are to blame for a lot of it but I don’t think some of the public help. Don’t think Covid is ever going to go away we just have to try and live with. Don’t watch the news anymore to depressing. Prefer to come on these boards and read uplifting posts.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.006

I have been an out patient 4/5 times so far this year and both hospitals were like the Mary Celeste with very few people/staff around. My sister has just been discharged from a Covid ICU ward where she was in 1 of 4 occupied beds. I think it really does depend on where in the country you live. Having said that surely everyone should be responsible for their own actions ie mask wearing etc and not wait for the government to tell them to be careful. Around here it's the Uni students who are failing to wear masks when on public transport but most oldies do.All that clutter used to be money4

On a slightly happier note - lots of walnut whips in my local Iceland 👍😀8

If you allow the television crews into your house they put right any damage they cause😁I still wouldn't let them in my house though if asked. I'm off out tomorrow and there is a really good newsagent near where I'm going so I'm going to scope them out for walnut whips, if they don't have any it's going to have to be M&S which although nice are not the same at all 😟Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204
