Ironing!! What's that? 🤣😂
I must admit since we sold our house and living in our motorhome, I havnt done any ironing!! I just fold it all up straight away😊
I was always one for ironing, couldn't wear clothes not ironed. Well, we moved to a new touring park yesterday. £25 a night includes hitch up. £1 for a 5 minute shower!!? I'd need to put at least £3 in. Then it's £3 a go for the washing machine per load. £1 per 45 minutes in the tumble. Well, I put £4 in all together (I done 2 loads in the washing machine). Mr P went over in the end and brought it al, back, still not dry. So we have washing hanging in our motorhome. I think i might need to speak to the man in charge as there must be something wrong with his tumbler dryer!?. And then the heater in our motorhome stopped working!! It's a cold night and pouring down with rain outside!! What else can go wrong? 🤣😂🤣😂 Mr P did get the heater working eventually!!
So that's my exciting day 🤣😂 catch up soon
Keep smiling Mrs Foxgloves. Take care and keep safe everyone XX

Oh dear, @Pixiehouse55, I think you can do without laundry & heating problems in a motorhome. Glad the heating got fixed, anyway.
I always do a good sort-out of clean laundry & I'm honestly not one of those saddoes who have to iron their pants & tea towels. I do however iron all 'top layer' garments which get wrinkly. Also, I only like cotton bed linen & I like it nice & crisp, something which regrettably requires me to wield the iron.
I do like putting it all away when it's done though.

Morning Campers,
Didn't post last night as felt really tired & was also moany about having a horrible coldsore. I have barely had 3 or 4 of these in my entire life, so goodness knows why one suddenly appeared.
Yesterday was frantically busy on the workmen front. It was penultimate day of decorating so he was working flat out on painting the new wall rock & in between waiting for coats to dry, he planed 4 poorly fitting interior doors, put in 2 new 'keeps', refitted some dodgy beading under the front door frame & put up a new smoke alarm. The floorers were also here & made a lovely job of the new conservatory & back lobby vinyl. Stairwell will be finished on Monday & as soon as the new header boards are up, I will be able to measure for curtains. Thankfully this will not involve any further expense as I bought sufficient fabric a while back to make both sets of those & there may possibly be enough for a new front door curtain too.
Haven't been out of the house all week so we are going out to a reasonably local beauty spot today for a walk & coffee up on the cafe balcony. Unless I see any good items for presents, there should be no additional spending. My Big Budget Day is hoving into view (27th) so I could do without any silly fritters between now & then.
OK m'dears, wishing you all a good weekend,

Iceland and Poundland are a good source of walnut whips here, just beware you don't fall for the "whips" in the same colour box that dont have a walnut on! I was very angry when I got home! I'd paid the same price but no nuts! (Even though the nuts always taste a bit stale it's an integral part of the pleasure!)
I hate having workmen in the house and it always stresses me, perhaps the underlying stress has left you feeling a bit run down, hence the cold sore. Glad it's all coming together now for you. We only have one more room to go until our little bungalow is completely refurbished, it's the bathroom but I'll be doing it myself to save money and having people in. I thought ahead when we had the new heating system put in and got the pipework that I can't do, moved in advance so aside from not having a bath/shower for a week, we'll be ok (planning to do it mid summer so we can have a hose pipe shower in the garden)7 -
Morning @foxgloves
Just catching up, you've been busy as per usual!Hope you have a nice relaxing day! I plan on doing absolutely nothing today, besides my sister and mother coming down to visit I have nothing planned. Just general house tidying.
I'm working flat out between two jobs next week, opted for over time. Working my main job Monday-Fridays 8.30 until 5 but also working at Sainsburys 4am until 8am tomorrow and Monday then I have a day off and back in Wednesday until Friday day off and back in Sunday again
