Excellent plan but is the tournament salvageable? It sounds like you are a very long way behind Mr F. Is it different games tonight or a re-run of yesterday? If it's same again I'm sorry to say that my money's on Mr F 🥴6

Scrabble is 'best out of three' so I could still win. Also involved are Yahtze & Backgammon which are best out of three too. And we still have Jenga & Rummy (both best out of 5). So Mr F has as yet only won two matches out of seven. We have decided to postpone remaining matches to tomorrow & Tuesday.
Enjoyed the thunderstorm. Pleased to see the garden getting a drink, as it was looking very dry.
F x2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!6 -
We enjoyed the storm too and saved me watering the outside plants. Lovely to see signs of spring here, lots of bird song and blossom on some trees and growth of my raspberries in just the last few days. It’s taken a couple of weeks but my OOD spinach I planted has sprung through the compost. Am hopeful now for the rest. Enjoy your evening.6

You can still make a triumphant comeback Foxgloves. The games tournament is a good idea and it sounds lovely doing it in the conservatory with the fairy lights

A slower start this morning, but yesterday's annoyingly lingering headache has gone & I've a few tasks planned. Feeding sourdough jar ready for mixing up a loaf tomorrow is first to be tackled, then cutting up yesterday's leftover lamb to assess whether I can get two further days of meals from it or if it can possibly be stretched to three. I am already fancying coffee & a wodge of simnel cake but have had a word with myself about needing to do at least a couple of jobs first. Think I'll start a new audio book & get myself moving. Mr F already seems to be involved in some sort of bedroom tidying activity & I'm not going to complain about that!

Yay glad to see your headache has gone, they can be so debilitating can't they, I've just sat here and eaten half an Easter egg and had a coffee and I'm trying to talk myself into doing something productive,I've pegged out some washing and walked B so just having a little break,I think I'm going to tidy the kitchen and then get on with some sewing,I really really really have an overwhelming urge to knit something but I i need to finish the sewing first and my needles haven't arrived yet,I did find a pattern online to knit a new jumper for my old Teddy so I might do that if I can't control myself 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,756 Owed = £10,8747
