    many hotels have a pcs and printer set up for guests and those that don't I have never had issues with getting reception to print boarding passes

    I've used numerous hotel "business services" for printing boarding cards. Even for leisure travel.

    Of course. I've asked to print stuff at hotels several times in the past and it's never been a problem.

    Some hotels have PC stations and printers set up for this purpose, or you can use the business centre, or you can ask at reception. It's not at all uncommon.

    Anyhow, the mistake was your for not reading t&C's relating to needing a printed boarding pass. I'm not sure what you expect Ryanair to do when you made a mistake.

    Think yourself lucky, I'm a US citizen and ALWAYS have to print off my BP before I go anywhere with RA. I am not allowed to use the mobile app's BP facility
    The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    out of interest, do you know if Ryanair are the only airline that charge for a boarding pass at the airport for an already checked in passenger? it must be a nice revenue earner for them I guess it is a fine you pay only once....(don't get caught out again)
