Had my hair done yesterday, 6 months since it was last done! Met the DDS and had cocktails sat in the marketplace and then was naughty and got an Indian takeaway!
Picked up the paint for the bar, ordered postcrete for the new fence we're putting in. OH sadly hasn't quite lived up to his end of the bargain and didn't get another load of decking, however it should be coming on Tuesday along with fence posts. It does mean we won't get one project finished before we start the other one, hopefully it'll all come together, jus a shame as we have 2 days off to achieve lots of things.

Had leave a very scathing review for our local MKM. Ordered and paid for post crete, then physically called in to order some ply board and told them it would all be collected Saturday morning. OH arrived to get said items to be informed post crete was out of stock and not due in until the middle of May.
I phoned up to get refund and queried why wasn't I told this at the point of placing said order. Apparently there's a national shortage and didn't I know? No I didn't and neither did the muppet of a salesman! I hate going in that place.
Managed to get the hedge taken out and burnt. Painted inside and outside of new bar. Rain stopped play today, so took some rubbish to the recycling centre, which was really busy. Called in at the local Homebase and lo and behold managed to get 8 bags of postcrete so much for nationwide shortage!
Posted some parcels, hopefully not to far behind tomorrow, came home and cooked tea. Had an email to say the sign is ready for collection, soooo excited to go and get that!

I've collected the sign and done the big reveal to the chaps. It was DD2s 21st yesterday, had a lovely day but OH didn't feel very well in the evening and went to bed which is unheard of. Managed to get another trailer load of decking to up cycle, so should finish one project tonight. OH is going to get the fenceposts today and if we get chance, possibly dig the holes and post crete them in ready for Sunday. Can't wait to get the bar area finished then we can do all the titivating and making it look pretty.
Money news, went into my overdraft for the first time in years, only by £6 and moved some dosh to cover it. Only 3 more payments to make on the tax credits over payment and then its gone.
Had a telephone consultation with the doc this morning. Need to have some blood tests and I've also managed to bag an appointment for 9.45 so killing time until I have to go.

Still got loads to do and only have 1 day a week to work on it. May get a bit done tonight see how OH is and how cold it is. In other exciting news, I've sort of had a lightbulb moment as to why I keep waking up between midnight and 6. I think its because my foot is aching and it eventually wakes me up. For the last couple of nights I've taken a couple of paracetamol and apart from last night (woke up with cramp) I've managed to sleep through. I do feel better so long may it continue.

Got loads done today. Both DS' were here to help. All posts concreted in, roof on and nearly watertight. Farmer dropped a JCB size bucket of poo off and we've just finished putting that into the raised beds. Don't think DD1s boyfriend was quite ready for doing that but he helped. So another big job off the list. Got 6 dumpy bags of topsoil coming on Tuesday so needed to get it done.
DD2 and I had a spa morning yesterday. It's the first time I've been swimming for ages and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had a back massage and she said my shoulders were very tight. They ache today but in a good way, lots of knots undone.
