Up and about bright and earlyish.  Bedding in the wash, waiting for that to finish then I can peg it out.  Also waiting for chemist to open then I can collect my prescription as I've run out of my tablets as of yesterday.

Lost 2lb this week so sort of back on track and back to where I was before I had the couple of bad weeks.  Going into work after I've done the above.  Hopefully tomorrow will be nice and we can get in the garden and attack the hedge.

Hello SH, dropped the bathroom stuff off last week.  Went up Thursday back on Sunday.  Swept the chimney, cleaned the stream out of all the rubbish that blows down it, greased all the window catches (its very salty) so they should last a bit longer.  Discovered that the Sky TV wasn't working so arranged to have it sorted on Monday.  My housekeeper knew the engineer so it went a lot easier than I thought.  The painting is going well and nearly finished.  I also got to see the new doors we'd had installed in January, very pleased with those.

DD2 had been into the workshop and managed to keep ebay and Amazon under some sort of control, still had 160 to do on Monday.  Diet not been great but I'm back with the PT as of Friday. Gulp!

Had some devastating news on Sunday, my B-I-L has been diagnosed with Motor Neurons Disease.  The outlook is bleak.

Asked DD1 to check when her MOT ran out.... January.  So my day is messed up getting her car in as she's lambing and can't get away.  Need to get my car looked at as its got a broken spring.  Got the parts, just so busy its having to wait.  Also got my first session at the PT today.  Stayed the same this week which after the few days away and forgetting to weigh in last week I'm pleased.  Need to get back into the habit of logging food on My Fitness Pal.

Booked an Italian for when we go away to Keswick, on the Saturday night.  Not sure what we're going to do on the Friday night as hoping to meet up with B-i-L and S-i-L as they are in the vicinity. It'll be the first time we see them since his diagnosis and this isn't until July

Booked my beauty treatments for the Royal Wedding in August, will really be glad when that's done as not looking forward to it at all.  Meeting a friend tomorrow for outside drinks, think the weather will be ok, so that'll be good.

Sunday, we've been given some decking so hoping to build an outside bar ready for DD2s 21st.  Her birthday is 6th May but hoping to have it ready for the last May bank holiday and we've hired a hot tub for the weekend.  Can't wait to wallow in it like a hippo preferably with some bubble of the alcoholic variety.

I've done a 0% money transfer on OHs card.  This has been loaned to DD2 so she can trade in her car.  She picks her newer one up today, was hoping to go with her but as DD1 as royally bu$$ered that up I can't.  Her current car is consuming vast amounts of oil so better off gone before it goes pop and she's doing quite a lot of commuting.

Right waffled enough, better go and get the car away for its medical

So this week has been a case of everything we touch turns into a disaster.  Classic case OH tried to do a favour for somebody and then spent the rest of the day trying to get the forklift unstuck as it sank in a wet bit.  I took DD1s car for its MOT, failed nothing major and luckily we can sort it in house.  DD2 picked up her car, got to the workshop for OH to point out her front brake was 'glowing' promptly returned to the garage where they said it was lucky it didn't set on fire.  They replace the caliper and its fine.

I keep thinking this time last week we were up north away from the hassle.  PT session went ok and I'm not too achey.

Nearly another week done.  Slightly better than last week.  DD1s car passed its MOT, so that's a job off the list.  Hen shed turning into outdoor bar area went very well at the weekend.  It's taking shape, need to get the roof on and then paint.  I've got a bar sign being made and can't wait to pick it up.  Had to tell the chaps as they were going to get one and I wanted it to be a surprise.  They know its a sign but not whats printed.

Feeling quite out of sorts and don't know what to do with myself.  Got a meeting with the accountant later and she's always a good sounding board/voice of reason and makes a great cuppa!
