Sorry about DS's friend. Heartbreaking for all concerned. Needs to be more support for mental health in this country. Shocking.

Hope the computer gets sorted... How frustrating for it to break when you were tantalisingly close to done.

Well what a sh*** day. All information off laptop irretrievable.  Hard drive goosed.  New laptop available for collection from Dumfries!!  Guess where I'm going tomorrow.  Small window of light in that there is a sort of hard copy of stocksheet but not up to date, all holiday cottage books lost (should be able to get them off letting agents) but details of previous years gone.  Had a meeting with accountant to look at next 3 years for both businesses.  She mentioned about doing our en-suite in the next tax year so that's exciting.  The room is ok and has shower, toilet and sink.  However there's room for a bath with a bit of jiggling so that's next.  Maximum spend of 5k

Collected new laptop without any problems.  DD2 came with me and we shared the driving.  All straightforward on the click and collect.  Started setting it up and getting all my bookmarks done.  Will need to add my suppliers when I get to the shop as I don't know the logins.  Then add on what I've got of the stocksheet and see how much I've got to re do.

Lost 2 1/4lb this week, happy with that.  Total loss 14.5lb so a stone gone.  PT cancelled again, a bit annoying but meant I could try and catch up on the missing work from the laptop dying.  It was saved on 28/1/21 so a couple of weeks work to redo, it could've been a lot worse!!  I slept very well last night, first time for ages.  Did the shopping today and came in well under budget so that's a win.
