Really have had hospital brain fog. One of the other workers at the b&b wanted to swap my Saturday for her Sunday this weekend. Apparently it’s next weekend so I’ve lost a shift as I didn’t go in last night and she’s still going tonight. What a twit I am!
managed to drop the holiday paperwork off at the docs. Just waiting for them to contact me to say it’s done.

Oh Goodness L - just catching up with your diary, you really are going through it aren't you. I am outraged on your behalf that they let you waste much of a week in hospital and never came to any conclusions at the end of it all, and I completely feel for you on the thing of being moved around the place without ever being given any information as to why, or where you are going next. It was precisely that happening to me that made me conclude that now quite frankly if I am physically able to avoid ever staying in hospital in the future, I most certainly will!  I with they would realise quite how damaging that sort of casual lack of care can be, particularly when someone is already vulnerable.

Definitely glad to be out. Having a diagnosis would also be good. Still struggle bit with laptop work.

The physio exercises for my ankle are really helping. It has been swollen for so long (i thought it was always like that) it’s nice to see it looking normal.
The big test will be tonight as I’m FOH and prepping so lots of walking involved.
OHs benched arrive and has been built. DS2 is off to get fuel and some batteries. It has Been an incredibly spendy month and I’m not looking forward to the cc statement. Also just paid for a ride on lawnmower collection box and scarifier kit. Paid for flights to London (chaps will pay me back) for sisters 60th party. Still need to pay the balance of Ibiza holiday this month. I’m hoping that will be on next months statement. Plus the dogs are at the vets tomorrow for their boosters. Then need to rein in the spending. My b&b wage will be down as I was off and messed up last weekends shift. My other work have paid me a bonus which is most welcome but won’t go very far.

Hurrah for the bonus but ouch to the (necessary) spendiness. Losing money while you were in hospital can't be helped, but the timing could certainly have been better couldn't it!

That's brilliant that the physio is already making a difference to your ankle - great news!

Glad your ankle is improving. Is your eye recovering too? Sounds a frustrating time for you. Glad you have DS's visit to look forward to.

I only did 6000 steps the other night. Ankle was ok.
Dogs have had their boosters so they’re done for another year. Next year I’ll make a decision whether they still have the kennel cough dose.
Dinner party went well, after midnight before we hit the hay. Still yawning now. Cottages cleaned and now just chilling before I start at the b&b.
I did collect the medical paperwork for the insurance claim. I struggled to upload but spoke to a helpful chap who let me email it in and then he added it to the claim. Just have to sit and wait to see what they say.
