As our eyes get older we have been trying a bigger screen (7ins), but sadly the symbols - eg speed limit are still small. (NB I mean near vision is compromised, not far vision for safe driving)
Does anyone make the Cummings version for people whose eyes aren't great?

If you need a satnav to tell you what the prevailing speed limit is then you have more problems than your myopia.

And how do you stop the wear on the battery from overheating when driving in direct summer sun and charging at the same time?

Also do you not find all of the notifications get in the way somewhat?
That's an imaginary problem you won't suffer. I use my mobile phone as a Satnav in my lorry. It's stuck to the windscreen of the lorry with the charger plugged in and often in use for up to 12hrs a day. My last phone, a Samsung Galaxy S7, I retired to being the household spare a few months ago after 3 years of being used like this, it being retired more due to slow speed - the battery still gave well over 24hrs use.
Notifications don't get in the way.
