Hi again All,
After a brief interlude, I'm returning today to ask those of you who are experienced here for your advice. Over the preceding months, I've received numerous letters from pas, debt logic and more recently bwlegal which I've studiously ignored until now. I've been out of the country for a lengthy period, following a bereavement (all of which I can evidence) which occurred overseas and I returned to the UK today, to find a 'letter of claim' from bwlegal dated over a month ago, which I had not opened or been able to address as I had not been here. My questions are 2-fold, is the letter in your opinion a formal letter before action (if it isn't I know to just ignore it) and if it is, as I have not responded within the requisite time period given the circumstances described, do I now have any option other than to await communication from the Court? Thanks folks, as ever I'm very grateful.0 -

I don't mind receiving court papers, it's more the approach to take. Hopefully some more members will have advice. Thanks for yours0

you have enough audited lies to cost them money if they proceed , BW will not have read history , and wont until 5 mins before court1

Yes that's a Letter before Claim. You can tell by the reply forms & 30 day deadline.
Usual advice is to do as the NEWBIES thread now says, at LBC stage, and NOT fill in those forms but send a holding letter telling them to restrict data processing (they will refuse...all as expected) but this is whilst you submit an online SAR to the parking firm.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all, following this with interest. I am in the same position and about to contact BW Legal in relation to their "correspondence". No LBC as yet. SARs issued to PAS and DL so far have got nowhere but I'll keep plugging. I am following Newbies thread #20
