  • Hello again,

I've just received DQ and filled in as per the advise here on the forums.

On the first page of the DQ there is an address to send it to once completed,

One thing I've notice is that below the address is stated : "........and serve copies on all other parties"

Does this mean that I will have to make a copy and send one to CEL ?

    Regards,
    Green

Yes, that's exactly what it means.

You can email it. To the court address you used for your Defence, and to CEL's email address if you have one.

The only email I could find for CEL is appeals@ce-service.co.uk . Is it safe to send it there?

    I'll send emails/DQ today.

  • Quick update:

I've sent DQ to all parties involved, I have not heard from CEL in regards to their DQ, I'll complain to the court about it next week (when is the deadline).

Unfortunately, my circumstances has changed after I've sent the DQ and I will be abroad between 7th - 14th July.

Is there any way to notify the court in addition of the days that I will not be in the country? Or I can only keep my fingers crossed to not have a date for hearing between these dates?

    Regards,

    Write to them?

Or phone them and ask what the procedure is.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

  • Hi guys,

Here are the latest news around my case:

I've opened my mail today and I am reading the following:

    IT IS ORDERED THAT

The claim is stayed because the Claimant's statement of case discloses insufficient details or inadequate particulars of claim. Unless by 4.00 pm on 2 July 2018 the Claimant files with the court and serves the Defendant with a further statement of case that sets out full and adequate particulars of the claim, the claim will be automatically struck out.

    Is it early to celebrate?

Thanks guys for you continuous help on this one!!

Even if they comply and provide the ordered doc, youve now cost them more than they can ever recover.
