Can my dentist do this? Isn't this discrimination?

I find it highly unlikely you would get 3-5 grand out of someone that saw you one time. Closed the nhs course of treatment down. Felt in their opinion there was a breakdown in your relationship- which looks like there Has Been by the tone of your posts. So felt it best to transfer you elsewhere. You have suffered no harm. You have not been left without services. You are just threatening to make their lives hell for a few months and theirs and my expense by putting them before the gdc - who can not award you compensation or possibly legal action. Small claims? What good would that do? They don’t owe you anything and have done no work.
As stated already. There is no nhs registration. You are not “their” patient. Their responsibility ended when you left the surgery as you had no work done. Let it go and try and find someone who CAN meet your needs. You would be surprised who is out there and it may calm your blood pressure and theirs down.0 -

That is what the courts award in discrimination cases, even if they are one-off incidents.
I've suffered prejudice (in my opinion) and I am entitled to take action.
Yes, I am aggrieved as it is pretty obvious there has been improper conduct.
The Small Claims track is for cases valued less than £10,000, which this case would fall into.0 -
Well you may find the dentist has notes to back up their version of events. And your persistence following a single visit may do more to back them up than you. I think you are being rather vindictive to be honest.0

You haven't been discriminated against because of one of the protected characteristics, you have been removed from the practice because of your attitude, Just because you are disabled doesn't automatically mean you can act whatever way you want and people have to accept it0 -
Fwiw. Digital and non digital radiography- the advantage of digital is you can play with levels to alter contrasts but In terms of quality - standard wet films are better. Plus there can be significant inter operator variation in interpretation too. Basically one is not particularly superior to the other unless you have dodgy eyesight and like to be able to blow the image up to the size seen in the mr bean visits the dentist sketch.
I!!!8217;m curious how you know for sure you were discriminated against though?
Given there is no registration all the dentist needs to do really is show they are on target with udas and they can legitimately claim they are at capacity even without a breakdown in relationship. If those are their reasons then discrimination won!!!8217;t be a part of it imho0 -

As a new comer to this tread can I get something clear?
You think the dentist discriminated against you because of your disability?
Is your disability your dental pain?0 -

How have you worked that out? I have taken steps to reconcile things?
I think the key "note" is one that is missing - their letter to me setting out their full reasons for ending the relationship.
I can assure you I get no pleasure from considering complaints and legal action.0 -

I don't agree that was the main reason. Even if it was, if my complex and difficult condition played even a small part then that is unlawful (discrimination).0 -
I work it out because you haven!!!8217;t seen their clinics notes. So you have no idea what they have said.0
