You don't believe they have provided you with the correct care, so I don't see how you can argue this point
Okay, when and where did I say that?0 -

No, your posts carry the insinuation that I am some kind of vexatious money-focused maniac - it's not hard to read between the lines here.0 -

but it wouldn't look good as the private dentist spotted something they failed to even look for.0 -

You are going to take action to get 5k worth of compensation, You have specifically researched what you believe your hurt feelings are worth monetary wise
If it wasn't about money then you would be more focused on resolving issues, not earning0 -

Just because I got a private opinion doesn't mean I was unhappy with their care. You are also assuming me seeing a private dentist had any bearing on their decision to end the relationship.0 -

I know the compensation guidelines from past experience. It may come as a surprise to you but discrimination does happen you know? Or are you proposing the government repeal the Equality Act 2010 as no one would ever do such a thing?0 -

I know discrimination happens, I should do its my job, however going by what has been posted to this thread and the limited facts available you have not been discriminated against.
The dentist is not happy to treat you any longer, they don't have to, just because you are disabled doesn't make it discrimination.
Anyway good luck with the case, I hope you don't waste too much money0 -
But again, why would a dentist discriminate against you for your disability? What possible reason would they have to do that?
Surely they can easily use the fact that they have other disabled patients as evidence against your claim?0 -

That's you're opinion and I respect it. If there are only limited facts available how can you be so sure though?0 -

I think this has been discussed on this thread already (see the first post for example) - I'm a patient with a complex and longstanding problem and they have a duty of care.
I many also come across as a bit grumpy and withdrawn due to my depression and they may take this personally. I could carry on...0
