    Forget it - I'm out
  • Ok, thanks for commenting although was not much of a help . If you say it's OK to pay £200 in these circumstances, there is something wrong in the World.

Check the paperwork they gave you regarding the finance. Usually they have some term in there saying about the rate being subject to acceptance by the finance company etc.
  • The moral to this story is pay nothing until you are ready to sign.

You have two choices. Accept the deal or lose £200. It's your call.
  • Lol, do you suggest I should buy the car at whatever deal they put on the table? Me putting the deposit down was after we agreed a finance plan. You cannot change your mind and ask me to pay more because this is not what we agreed.

I don't suggest anything. You wanted to know your options. Sadly that's it. It doesn't mean I agree with it but that's what they are.

Not sure I understand what that means.

I don't need to add anything more than other posters have written, who all seem to have grasped my meaning very easily.

So you only want to hear from posters who agree with you? If you had said that in your opening post you could have saved a lot of people wasting their time.
