You have to laugh. In the same way that their inability to afford a house is homeowners' fault, their abject inability to attract a woman is women's fault.[/QUOTE]

    LOL

It is just such a dark dark dark world they live,

I have just returned from an old area where I used to live called Stamford, driving home I went through Peterborough and a couple of huge estates that I know, they were being built in the late 1980's and up for sale at the time of the great property crash. The place was once a ghost town, 100's of For Sale signs and decent homes you could buy on a credit card, they were giving them away,

Today there was not a For Sale sign in sight and just to For Rent signs, the area looked clean and tidy and fully occupied. If there was even a tiniest of doubts in my head that prices would crash they have now vanished, property is king and it will be until 10 million people vacate these shores, in other words never.

They really are a bunch of women hating malcontents over there.

Today's misogynistic spew includes the usual attack on the women of mumsnet.

However, my favourite thread is this one:
    http://www.housepricecrash.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/147969-deluded-old-scrapper-birds-on-dating-sites/&

Almost 600 pages of raw hatred against women.

Still, if they are all like CrashyTime... mid-50s, single man, living in a bedsit there is a good reason why they would hate women so much.

They constantly make the point that women just care about their houses or lack of them. But what is the problem in a woman wanting some kind of security in her life, even men for that matter. My wonderful lady deserves to be sheltered and looked after, it is called cherishing those you love, and it separates the men from the boys.
My advice to them as well as a few on here, take a look in the mirror and take a critical look at yourself before others, you will then be 90% on your way to sorting out many of your perceived problems

They correctly point out that a woman value falls with age but they incorrectly say that a man's value increases with age. A mans value also falls with age there are the rare men who achieve exceptional things who may have gained in status or power or money but for the other 99% of men their value also falls with age.

So these buffoons are both sexist and ageist?

What a bunch of pathetic losers

The majority of them now openly have given up on a HPC, and I bet that there are far more that will not face up to it.

By Jove, I think one of them's got it:
people who in 2000-2002 decided to rent rather than buy will have lost money, if there is no collapse until the 2020s.
He's noticed the concept of the BCR! Well done that man! Not so well done this man:
Optimistic as ever I believe the end is nigh and has in fact already started. Job losses
So to be clear, he's cheered up by the idea of job losses - other people's of course. His idea of a good news day is one where it appears a recession is starting, because this means he gets a cheap house.

    Jilted Jen is gloomy:

    - but that's what happens when you take financial advice from a website like that. 6 years ago was just before prices went up 50% - why didn't she buy then?
    jiltedjen wrote:
thankfully i how managed to out-save the price rises, so im still better off than having bought years ago and paid the mortgage.
She needs to talk to "iamnumerate" and do the maths properly. Her not understanding how badly off she has made herself is part of why she can't afford a house.

for those in the south east, if you can only get good wages in that part of the world, then frankly your not worth what you get paid....your way better off getting paid what your worth, even if that's under the average wage outside of the south east (your real worth)....the south east don't want or need you
    So that's us told.

As for the poor old Count, will his sense of entitlement never end?
The prices round Northants are now pretty much double the 2008/2010 collapsed prices, which were still 30% too high
We could have told him that would happen.

You want to show some respect, Count has written thousands of posts on the subject over many years, he knows what he is talking about.

I want to say they are crazy and stupid but IMO the majority on that site simply can't afford to buy a house and are venting about it without realising the problem isn't that houses are too expensive but that they earn/save too little.

They are also fed misinformation which keeps them from realising the truth.
Of course house prices look expensive if you are fed the notion that the average man earns £26k and should be able to buy for 3 times his income. The reality though is the average man earns £35k and couples up with the average woman earning £30k and they both receive a portion of the annual £200 billion given in gifts and inheritences. With that information house prices kook cheap and they are cheap in most the country so cheap that a mortgage in some instances costs half that of social rents
