You can ask but they dont have to do that, it may well stay there but be marked as settled as its a true reflection of how you ran your account.0 -
It is unlikely they will remove the default as it is an accurate statement of your account at the time it was applied. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Why would they?
How did you get into this situation with them?0 -

I guess you're struggling to manage your debts and are now looking for a way out unscathed?0 -
Vanquis won't do that, they will also sell your debt on if it remains unpaid - its their business model : Higher APR cards, accept higher risk customers and quickly shift once they default to minimise extra costs.0

You can ask but I doubt they would amend a true reflection of how your account was/is managed.

A not uncommon story of using, then avoiding, debt to finance a lifestyle that cannot be afforded.
£53 a month for an iPhone 6S on contract. OP's recovering bankrupt partner is spending a similar amount.
They're now scratching around for a mortgage. OP is trying to massage her credit files so they only show two defaults. :rotfl:
Having said that, OP was spending £91 on two mobile phone contracts for herself in 2014, so I guess £53 a month is an improvement.0 -
thanks for your 'helpful' comments snow tiger.
wrong about the iPhone contracts though but assumptions always an interesting trait.
don't remember saying i was 'scratching around' for a mortgage either :rotfl::rotfl:0
