yes in the freezer with the label as described along with a 32oz chump also stating ORIGIN SPAIN.
I was offered nothing as I told the truth that The dogs had got them

Do you have it in writing BEFORE you purchased, that ALL their meat is locally sourced?

Did you buy it because it was (supposedly) locally sourced? If you noticed it was from Spain, why didnt you complain before you cooked it?

Personally - i'd just vote with my feet. Life is too short to be obsessing over a couple of bits of meat.
  • so so true wish I had never posted but thought moneysaving site or possible not in this case you get what you pay for.

Now motorguy I have found your comments hurtful, you are obviously Lacking people skills in fact you are just downright NASTY

    batch no 100778
    packed on 13/01/2018
    use by18/01/2018
    ORIGIN SPAIN
    s1ghtno es10,01293/bce
    cut in the united kingdom

so lets get this right... the meat is bought in by Kanes from Spain, it is then cut and packed by Kane ,,,,,, yes??

why then didn`t you get onto Kane straight away when it arrived complaining it wasn`t `locally sourced`?

In any event this `buy online get it posted` lark with meat is a nonsense. Go to your local butcher, see what you`re buying - end of.

And if you`re anyway near to Moira there`s a couple of butchers there i`d highly recommend.

  • Thankyou Cherryscone was beginning to question my sanity in that I bought this meat in good faith had I known the quality no I wouldn't have that's why I asked the question.
Must say that I am shocked by the response all defending the butcher ???
