Hi

I would like to hear your comments about the quality and the description of the cuts on offer?
ie when they advertise 16oz sirloin steaks IS it sirloin or a cheaper cut fashioned to suit

Never heard of them, but surely if it's advertised as sirloin, then it has to be.

Their stuffs OK, some good deals and delivery is handy. Meat merchant stuff is far better but you pay for it and have to go to them to collect it.
  • Thankyou but I have had a few orders meat not great but eatable, its just my last order contained 16oz sirloins of which I have eaten 3 now I have eaten many sirloins in my time and I sincerely doubt if what I got was in fact sirloin due to the shape, texture and it had a strip of thick fat running through it,
I justed this to see if any others have had a similar experience or perhaps I was just unlucky

Most of the meat is imported which is why it's so cheap ( I know one of the butchers working there)

However saying that, I've bought from them by going into the shop rather then ordering, and I can't complain. What I have bought has been good quality for the price

Now please realize that if the meat I purchased from Kane was eatable I would NOT be so annoyed he should not be selling under false pretenses
