Would you contact your seller/buyer on Facebook?
What if they contact you first?

No, I'd find that highly inappropriate for what is effectively a business transaction.Officially in a clique of idiots0
-
Why would you want to do that?0
-
NO. It is a business transaction. I wouldn't even give my phone number. There are such things as boundaries!0
-
No I wouldn't.
If they contacted first by private message, it would end up as message request anyway and I would not see it - ignore it by not opening it.0 -
No, but I'd see what they & their friends have posted in the past about the place, neighbours, local developments, why they were selling etc etc..
Amazing what people post without thinking....0 -
Absolutely not!
If they tried to make contact with me I would reject it and ask the estate agent to remind them that contact is through them or the solicitor.0 -
Asking because received Invitation from the Seller but then was deleted. I guess he was looking at my profile but accidentally pressed to add me. How awkward!0

Not for a business transaction, no. We did swap mobile numbers with our vendor and found this very useful to keep things moving. It only worked because we were all comfortable with the idea. Because we are continuing to foster the previous owners cat while they wait to complete on their purchase we still are in contact. However it's strange for them and us when they visit their pet at their old house, and we are lucky that they are very respectful of our privacy and keep contact to a minimum.0

Agree with the other poster, unless the seller has already said it's okay to contact via fb, don't. It's guaranteed to **** them off IMO.0

I always look for any internet profile on anyone I am dealing with but I would never contact them.
Information is helpful sometimes!0
