Gorgeous photos. Am quite jealous! I too am awful at visiting our local area. We are half hour from the New Forest, never go unless we go to a big country park. We went there last week at half term, and on the way back we took a detour to see the Rufus Stone for the history obsessed nine year old, then drove through the forest for a bit just looking at it all. Planning a camping trip there in August now.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉5

Yesterday while walking or driving saw a bird of prey really close and big hovering over the road. Also saw another rabbit later. While DS and I walked around a forested outskirts of a lake we saw our first free owl just perched in a tree. The beauty was amazing.
