well done. All the signs are for full lock down from tonight if not very soon after, so you should be able to carry on WFH for the foreseeable but in the company of everyone else, which is often lovely (but sometimes not

Sorry to hear about your friend, hope they make a speedy recovery.
How motivated do you sound at the moment though? So pleased the launch of book 1 is going well x5 -
Sorry to hear about your friend. I hope she isn't too poorly with it and she fully recovers quickly.
Great news that everything book related is coming together nicelyIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I finished it yesterday and left a review. I did enjoy it a lot, even if I did scream at the cliffhanger
Sorry about your colleague, I hope she recovers well.

Well I have splashed £10 whole pounds on FB/Ins advertising. Will let you know how that works out. Still need more reviews for Am**** advert to work well. I know others are still reading.
Potential exams cancelled could be great news for DD who was already getting really agitated about her least challenging subject's exams... She hates this level of uncertainty that we are dealing with. At least we now have relative certainty until mid Feb although it will be interesting to see what happens with those I work with who have small kids. Furlough unlikely to be an option for them. I'm wondering if my cleaner will come. She had an informal childcare bubble and it sounds like those can continue... but who knows... Her decision. At least I know no-one will be popping round to check the state of my house LOL.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

DD just has to get through the next few months and then it's all done and she can put it behind her.
Hopefully your cleaner will continue, even if it's not as frequent.

I am feeling very 'meh' today. Not surprising given the recent announcements - and the lack of thoroughness. DD is one of those affected by the elitist omission of BTECs in the exam cancellation speech. She's very stressed about it all which naturally means so am I. I didn't get to sleep until 4 which given I have to work today wasn't grand either. DH is supposed to be off but ended up going in. Everything feels messy today.... My team though are struggling with kids at home etc so productivity is likely to suffer for a while as people get used to working with kids home again. This would be fine however there are always some immoveable deadlines...
On a positive note I'm about to have jacket spud and bolognese sauce with a slice of melted cheese. Our cupboard and freezers are full. We have jobs and in that sense are very lucky. This too shall pass.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
