I know! Makes me laugh as I split before reaching 18 and I'm the youngest.

It is down to the parents to teach the kids, but difficult for those living hand to mouth and scrimping through.

Sorry your leg is hurting, hopefully a bit of rest will make a difference, the body needs rest / sleep to repair itself. Don't know about you but I'm waking up about 3am and it's like a sauna in here.

I'm about to move on to L2 of the course. Trick is to read the transcripts rather than trying to watch the videos, they've always had issues with them. Going to do the next section this week.

Hope you all have a better night tonight.

  • I think you're doing a great job with DS SH. £600+ a month fun/saving money is great for a 22 year old and paying his way will help him in the long term. You've helped him loads through uni, now he's earning its time to budget like an adult.
Well done on the pensions,  although it sounds complicated,  it's a real achievement to have the problem of deciding what to do with your pensions. I imagine it will really open up future opportunities x

Sorry to hear your leg is hurting SavingH. Hope it feels better tomorrow.

I think the amount you are charging DS is perfect. He has plenty of money leftover to save and have fun with. I also agree on them paying their way.

After writing that decided to book half a day off so I can go to the IFA and clear some brain space. Need to work this afternoon though.
