Hope you manage to get a better sleep tonight SH, and the leg still improving.

You're always so busy I don't know how you fit it all in, were you pleased with the window cleaner?

Would be great if your dd can help in the house, I have a sister who is a trained decorator but unfortunately she lives 5 hours away!

    Have a good evening, H x

    Dear diary and all
Forgive me for not having the best work week...
DS, dog and I walked 1.2 miles tonight. Our grocery delivery came - yummy food! Still not heard more re chairs or DS accommodation. Will check on pension tomorrow. I've set up a subscribe thing for my hair colour as planning to continue from home until things improve significantly. Bought some clothes online yesterday & today for me and OH. Sleep well.

It's great that you are able to walk so far after all the issues with your leg not so long ago.
    You sleep well too :)

Well done on the weight loss. It’s exciting to read that you have been able to send a painting to someone...great potential for being able to sell your art work.

Paid another £143 off CC and £8.72 off target card.  Debt now £19619. I have felt exhausted all week. Hope the weather improves soon as I think that's part of it. I need to buckle down and produce stuff for work today so that the week doesn't feel a write off! I finally managed to buy a parasol - not in the ideal colour I wanted but they deliver and it was only about £6 above my total budget. Should arrive before the base but at least it is a step in the right direction.

Just caught up with your diary Savings.  I am certain that if I miss a day, I have about 3 pages to read!  Good news about  the debt repayment and the parasol, lets hope we get the weather for you to be able to use it.

Just wanted to say that you are probably the most focused person on here.  You have a plan and you are sticking to it.  You are doing so well.  I will sit back and watch in awe as you sort everything in your life.  I just wish I was as organised.  I will keep reading your diary.  It inspires me to do better.

Hi DIA, MF, HSL and Tahlullah - For some reason the posts weren't showing earlier. Thank you for commenting. The difference in my leg and what I can now do is huge - even if I am (as always) frustrated that progress isn't quicker. Recurring theme of my life. I chased the IFA today - and only then did they send it to the pension provider. Frustrating. The pension company rang me - the IFA/admin had also got some details wrong which was annoying. The pension company have sent some questions to the old pension company and say they should be back in touch within a week or two with a follow up call for me and OH so things are moving there.

I've just ordered a double bed for DS so hopefully his time at home can be more comfortable. His current plan is to be around until after Christmas. Most of the bed should be paid for in month 1. We will need to re-arrange his room a little when it comes but should be a huge improvement for him. We bought his current day bed style when he was 10 and while we have upgraded the mattress and swapped the frame for an identical unbroken second hand one during that time it still isn't ideal. He was really chuffed. He forgot to take his meds today and struggled all day to get anything done.

That is frustrating, hopefully by the end of this month you will know what's possible.

The day beds lasted well and I'm sure DS will appreciate having a larger bed when at home. He has now seen the difference when taking his meds compared to not, so he knows they definitely make a difference.

You are on the home stretch with your leg. It has taken a while, but has given you time to focus on other things, which I'm not sure you would have if your leg was fine. Something good came out of it!
