Yes but they done use a rolling road, the bikes engine displacement is limited to 50cc. But having different sprockets adjusts speeds which again the government have no stipulations!

Need a police biker on here lol

    Yes they do.

a moped is NOW a vehicle with NO gears and a max speed of XXX

previously a moped was a vehicle with pedels and gears if fitted

the "fizzy" fs1e 50cc m/bike with pedels was the turning point

F14“moped” means a motor vehicle which has fewer than four wheels and in any other case, has a maximum design speed not exceeding 50 kilometres per hour and, if propelled by an internal combustion engine, has a cylinder capacity not exceeding 50 cubic centimetres,

So does not stipulate speed but does mention 50KM per hour, assuming she wanted to further restrict the bike, and the police at this point would check and this is not worth doing.

She would not need a CBT or L plates but after this thread she should do the CBT lol

Get someone to read it for you, the bike you describe is a motorcycle and she need a CBT and L plates.

I passed my test in the 80’s. I can ride a moped on my licence. I remember being able to ride a bigger bike on L plates as long as it had a sidecar.

Many of us had some mad little plastic thing and could go around on big bikes.

When was this entitlement removed from me?
