    MM Day 17 & 18

Thanks Lilith - I just have to hope for the best & for them to understand I was just very nervous.

Money front - Bit spendy yesterday as I bought new foundation as the old bottle was a lot emptier than I thought. The good news was that they accepted my post office gift card so I got £20 off. I wear Estee Lauder doublewear which is a bit expensive but is the best for me. It will be spendy tonight. I’m going out with friends and I won’t be drinking much but we have a taxi booked as well. I know it will be a great night but as usual I feel I don’t have anything nice to wear:o. I will just have to have a good root into my wardrobe.

    Plans today
    • Find something to wear
    • Run
    • Take mums car to garage for minor query
    • Iron
    • Tidy up

    MM Day 19

    Afternoon,

I had a lovely night with my friends and spent £34 which wasn’t bad for taxi & a nightclub. Only downside is that knee is playing up this morning after dancing last night.

I’ve been to mass to get all the coach details for our trip to see the pope next weekend.

Not much to say today - tired but happy from last night.

Seen my first Xmas gifts yesterday :).

    MM Day 20

Today has been an NSD :). I'm heading to my volunteer thing tonight and have 3 months of travel to claim so I should get £40 back.

We got tickets for the pope (free) which I printed this morning. I was a bit suspicious as they were practically on the stage. A new email came out this pm to say Sorry and our correct tickets are attached and we are at the back. I think a lot of ones have been issued the wrong tickets and if they don't pick up the 2nd email there is going to be a lot of confusion.

Final interview for the post I want will be tomorrow. Officially I should not hear anything until maybe Thurs at the earliest but I'm pretty sure the grapevine will be in gear tomorrow afternoon and if the grapevine doesn't let me know then I think I don't have the job. Yes I'm overthinking it but it would be such a relief to be back where I enjoyed and very little travel.

Ok time to pack up and head home while avoiding those pesky shops.

    MM Day 21

Oh dear MSE halo slipped today. I am waiting for word about this job and ok I may not hear today but nerves are shot worrying. I popped out at lunchtime to Boots and bought a lipstick and lip pencil. Did I need either of them...nope..but £18 spent on No7 and I got a free palette. I then spent £3 on stew as I couldn't face food this morning. So £21 frittered because I'm nervous...

Not beating myself up as I got a letter in post from the investment people I'm with and they have added an extra £52 to money I got in December which appeared in my bank today :).

Still no word............ I might even have to get on with the day job soon..

    MM Day 22

    Morning :hello:

So another day of waiting...... I've had lots of texts and emails from my old work checking if I've heard anything about the job but nothing yet. I expect to hear today... _pale_.

I have lunch prepped and packed so hopefully I'm back on the money mindful bandwagon today. I was doing a 50/30/20 check on my finances where 50% of my wages should go on needs, 30% wants and 20% savings. I actually have 50% of my wages going on savings and part of that is debt repayment. I was very happy with that. I think my main issue is that I can't seem to get my emergency pot up to a nice level without raiding it. To be fair I've raided it recently for necessities eg car turbo and some sort of valve dying. I'm happy with my savings plan and once I have the credit card paid off then that money will go towards my emergency fund.

Last night was yoga night and it was so good but I was incredibly hot and bothered by the end. I had to have a shower when I got home and then straight to bed for a lovely long sleep.

    MM Day 23

Still waiting... I know today is only day 2 since the final interview so I wouldn't normally expect to hear anything.. I'm on leave tomorrow and then it's a bank holiday on Monday so at least my head will not be pickled waiting for an email from HR.

Not feeling 100% today.. I just feel bloated an horrible but maybe my head is just exhausted from worrying and it's affecting all of me.

Money front - I spent £5 today on pups pet licence. If the council didn't send reminders it wouldn't get done.

I'm going to do some of my volunteer thing tomorrow and pop round to see my brother. I'm looking forward to not having to get up super early but I will still wake up early. I will take pup for a walk, clean the house, do some ironing and dig out rucksack for our trip down to Dublin on Sunday.

I would like to join the clear my debt challenge but I will leave it until the 2019 thread because I bowed out at the beginning of the year as I was debt free and feel embarrassed heading back to it :o.

Is it too early to be excited that the Xmas countdown started on Instagram yesterday....124 days to go :rudolf: :D

    That's frustrating :(

I hope you manage to enjoy your BH weekend and put it to the back of your mind for a bit.
