Sorry to hear you've been so rough Munchin. This lurgy has been knocking everyone for six over the past couple of months. Take it easy for a bit and don't go gung ho on the exercising until you feel really A1.
You sound like you've been having a lovely time with your family though.
Have a good week!Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Thanks Seaside & Lilith
So sister and family have headed back across the water and it was sad to see them go but also it will be a lot calmer for a wee while.
I had so much fun this week with my sister home. We went into our nearest big town and had a gorgeous lunch but thankfully there were no other spends. We went to the park and a family thing which was great and I think the good weather made everyone feel good. My friend was home this weekend so we went out and I have to admit I had such a terrible hangover yesterday. I did scrape myself together and met her for lunch yesterday in our local pub but I stuck to soft drinks. I have agreed to visit her in Sept in Scotland and we are going to a 10k race together. I've also said yes to visiting her next winter (she has a hotel in Sri Lanka) and I know it will cost for flights and paying for things to do but the accommodation will be cheap...well I have to at least show willing
.
My therapist said I have to say yes to more things so I think I've even impressed myself with the fun things I've been doing and planning. Of course money is still a problem but it's only the next year that will be costly as it's not every year you plan for big holidays.
I went to my (first in 6 months) circuits class this week. I could barely move my legs yesterday and that was combined with the hangover from hell!!!. The instructor gave us a worksheet to do at home and I haven't touched it as the pain was too much. I know that it will get easier and I absolutely loved it so hopefully it will be better this week.
Money front - scary spends this week - £340 on my new tyres and that was their basics range!!! I knew it was going to be expensive and I had the money saved up in my annual fund but will need to get that filled again.
Not many plans today. I'm back to work tomorrow and then I have another long weekend as I'm away0 -
You always seem to have a wonderful time when you're sister comes over. It's lovely to have such a close family.
Sri Lanka sounds great - a work colleague returned from holiday there recently and raved about it.
I'm seriously impressed you did a circuit class with a hangover though!:rotfl:
Bah to the tyres but the good thing was you had the money readily available in your annual budget fund and no CC bill to pay!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Sounds like you had an awesome time!
And how great that you have things to look forward to as well! Well done on the circuit class!

Hi again,
I've been a bit MIA this week but I've been busy doing some fun things
SS, HHD & Lilith & thank you for your nice comments and I kind of do feel good and in a positive frame of mind with the budgets.
So last weekend I was away in Southern Ireland for a conference and must admit I was a bit tired on Mon when I got home. The rest of the week flew in and I've a list of jobs as long as your arm to get done.
It took me a few days to get mojo back as returning to reality can be a bit strange..no longer being wined and dined.
I've been out for a run and been to cousins house so at least I have 1 task done today (farm form completed) but the brain doesn't want to start the minutes which is why I'm happily skipping through MSE.
I'm writing out today's tasks so that I can get them all done today -
- fill in farming form for relative x 2
- Type up 1 set of minutes and review another set.
- Sort out bombsite that is our bedroom
- tidy house
- Dreaded ironing.

Morning,
OH is still in bed sleeping and I'm just killing time until I get my Mum for mass.
I didn't get all the things I needed to do yesterday done but I got the complicated bits out of the way so at least it should be all plain sailing today and tomorrow.

I have created a 'Wish Farm' on YNAB which is where you save money towards non daily routine stuff but things you wish you could afford. I've separated my current wishes into Small, Medium & Large (stolen from YNAB tutorial). I have been thinking about getting a mini radio when running as my IPOD is ancient and it doesn't have a radio. I started researching and almost convinced myself to save up for about £150. I really thought about it and only needed a simple basic device and I found a device for £29 which does the job so now I just have to add a bit to that category and save towards it. It is a lesson on how quickly I can convince myself to splurge and not save.
Today's plans involve the Garden Show Ireland and lots of sun:D

Morning all,
Thanks Lilith - hope you enjoy it as well - plenty of sunscreen.
Garden show was good yesterday but the weather made the event.
Today there is another country fare which we are thinking about heading to but we’ve been a few times so not sure if I want to go.
So I have a few spendy months ahead -
- Trip to see sis in England (flights & accommodation, pressie, car hire & food) x 3 = £500??
- SIL 40th b’day - (pressie & dinner) - £100
I think I might have to raid the Emergency fund for the England trip. I do have a handle on budgets but I wish I could save more.
ED front - told OH about extent of my ED yesterday as he fat shamed me at the garden event. I told him at home why his ‘funny’ digs & looks or squeezing of my sides as a sign ‘of affection’ upset me so much after repeatedly asking him not to comment on my eating or shape which he ignores. I’m a size 12/14 ...so why he feels he has to comment is beyond me. He still doesn’t get it but it’s only been a day & at least if he crosses the line again he can’t say he didn’t know or it was only a joke..sorry rant over.:o
Life has improved so much with therapist and my dips are tiny now. OK time to tidy up and get some mojo for day ahead.
