    Afternoon,

Had a dander round the shops at lunchtime and bought nothing :) but was really tempted by all the 1/2 price chocolate eggs & bunnies :o.

3 days with no spends (thank you Easter) and today is the first day back in the office since last Wed and it's not as painful as I had thought because 2 of my main complainers are on leave all week :D. I spend the first few minutes of my morning working out how I can take lots of flexi leave over the next month without affecting my annual leave too much.

Sister phoned last night and she is planning on coming home soon for a visit so hoping to take some leave when she is home.

You've had a wonderful Easter Munchin! Well done on not succumbing to the lure of the discounted Eggs!:D

Thanks SSG- hope you had a lovely Easter as well.

Today is probably going to be a wee bit spendy as it was either a shower or breakfast this morning and I couldn’t do that to colleagues :o so went for the shower. Couldn’t get out of bed. Will get a croissant in Mr Ts. OH is hinting at takeaway tonight ... I have £29 left in weekly budget so should be ok.

Tomorrow is going to be a massive spend as I need a complete set of tyres on my car. It’s coming out of my car budget but even so I don’t like seeing money disappear like that. Will ring round a few places today and see how they compare.

ED - saw therapist this week and she said ‘what else would I like to work on before we finish’. I’m being released back into the wild :D. I’m not sure how many sessions I have left but not many. Feel good and that is all that matters. Did I mention a bakery has opened up under her office:o.

I’m hoping to leave work about 4 and have a nice relaxing weekend. No plans out which is unusual but then a few busy weekends coming up.

I think the shower was a good idea even though you had to buy a croissant!:rotfl:

Bah to the tyre bill but isn't it grand that it's taken care of by way of the car budget and no last minute panicking and shoving it onto a CC to be paid back gradually!

Your sessions sound like they have done you a world of good. I hope you didn't buy stock up on croissants in the bakery!:)

    Enjoy your weekend Munchin.

I know what you mean about seeing huge chunks of money just disappearing. I had to pay for just two new tyres on my car the other week and I begrudged that even though they weren't too expensive (for tyres!).

    Have a nice weekend :)

Thanks SSG & Lilith - hope you are both having great weekends.

Have picked up a bug so have been blah since last night so no tyres bought but OH wants to check another garage this week...just a reprieve from big spends.

I spent £3.99 on a clothes app.. I blame my temperature but I think it’s worth it. Basically I took pics of my clothes and then categorise them on the app. Let’s just say that even though I thought I was on top of my clothes spends I discovered tops and trousers I had forgotten I’d bought:o...and never worn :o. I still have coats, holiday clothes, sports gear and shoes to photograph and categorise. I have 6 cardigans of various colours... I thought I had 2:o.

OH should be home from work soon but I’m just going to go back to bed. Hope to feel better tmw

Actually the clothes app sounds like just the sort of thing I would buy! And it may be a big help in not buying any more unnecessary clothes. I dont think you can put it down to being delierous!:rotfl:

Hope you feel a lot better in the morning Munchin.

    Afternoon :),

I'm almost back to normal after bug.. I went into work on Monday but only lasted a few hours as I realised that was a big mistake. I still feel a bit run down but nowhere near as bad as last week. I'm just waiting for F1 to start and that will be my Sunday sorted.

Sister is home visiting so yesterday I met my sisters and their kids and went to a petting farm. It actually was a really good afternoon out for the family. My family are farmers as well but their focus is on beef and dairy so it's not the same as a petting farm and the kids loved it. This week I'm taking a few days leave to spend with sister before she goes back and we're thinking about the beach if the weather stays good and also we have a family do thing and we're heading out to dinner afterwards so it's all go this week. I have an appointment to get my nails done to look a bit smarter and feel a bit pampered.

Next weekend I don't think I have many plans but the following weekend I'm away at a conference in Southern Ireland.

Also this week I'm joining a new fitness class with sister in law. I really need that mojo back but it is decidedly lacking at the moment. Hoping that going with SIL will force me to attend.

Plans for the rest of the day is to do very little :)
