Tesco Won't Accept Debit Card Payment on the phone

I don’t live in a bubble, neither am I a drama queen. I try to worry about important stuff, not these small inconveniences.
Tesco seems to be doing rather well....to me, anyway. In fact, I have two current accounts and two credit cards with them. Never felt the need to phone them though, nor worry about clubcard points.

Shortcrust, no they dont they are busy supplying info to progam "chatbots" which are due to take over other aspects of their job just like the auto payments part of their job.

It does not take a genius to figure out that they need less operatives if a robot is doing parts of their job.

How many real people work in car manufacturing thes days?

Sounds like you're lonely and need some human interaction.

Have you considered joining a friendship club?

Perhaps your local supermarket is offering a slow lane for people like you:

TESCO is piloting a new scheme in which it has installed a new "relaxed" checkout aisle in one of its Scotland stores, giving people more time to make their purchases.

Shoppers, particularly the elderly, who need a little extra time at the till will be able to take it slow and feel less pressured to complete their purchases in a hurry.

Presumably you're not full of bluster and have hammered your nail in to Tesco's coffin, already having closed your credit card account.

Why not phone around other card providers and have a nice chat with their representatives. Perhaps you'll find a few you like.

As I said , you live in a bubble or you would know it is not doing well at all.

I have been with Tesco for over 35 yrs and I have had my Tesco Credit card since it's first edition (it is a VISA card not a mastercard) wich if you gave into their pressure is a Master Card which is not as accepted abroad as Visa.

With regards to banking with them, I did that years ago and now put my money into banks with better returns.:money:

I think you might have got around the wrong way!

You have been a member for 7 yrs and placed 1000 posts, I have been a member for 9 yrs and how many posts have I placed?

I have been to busy out enjoying life instead of being stuck on forums trying to be objectionable!
