Blood Stain on Fitted Carpet

The store has shown me the video and have agreed that the blood stain is visible on the video. The store has told me that taking videos is their standard company policy and is not in their contracts.
I have spoken to the police about it and they were appalled but it is not a criminal matter.
As to be being a newbie, I am sorry, I read the forum on a regular basis and had thought that people were helpful. Thankfully I have never had the need to post before.

To be fair but if they HADN'T taken the video then it would be a "your word against theirs" scenario whereby you'd have to take them to small claims court and hope that the judge finds in your favour!

So bear that in mind whilst you criticise the taking of a video which was 99.9% used for the purposes of providing evidence should anything like this arise.
