  • I made that mistake with the first set, the low point was when I found one watching TV in the living room! A fox got our third set and we gave up after that.

Hopefully extra air vents will help.

  • Great news that you phoned SC and made your payment much more affordable , well done. It's very annoying for you not to get a Sunday to bump your salary up , it should be on a rota then everyone gets a Sunday if they want one.

Christmas shopping started is all good. I have started on the wrapping now .
Thanks,it is very annoying and even more so because at least three of the people I work with would gladly not work Sunday, but they get put down to work and I don't,I noticed the person who does our rotas has got a Sunday this month, she is the only person who has got one:mad:

Another crazy busy day at work where I had a close encounter with a very rude lady, honestly there is no need to be hostile especially when the thing your are annoyed about has nothing to do with me and I can't do anything about it,I very nearly walked out on my job today as I have had enough this week, anyway I have two days off now so I'm going to enjoy them before I go back on Monday

So today I figured out one of the reasons I am in soooo much debt,I sent DD1 a text asking her if there was anything in particular she wanted for Xmas, she sent me a link for a weekend bag for £72 :eek: honestly it's no wonder I'm broke, last year I would have just bought it plus some bits and pieces to go with it
I would have bought it because I felt guilty not doing it so it became normal,I didn't have the budget for this so it went on my card, anyway I sent her a message back telling her my budget was £50 so she has asked for some trainers that are in the sale instead,I also get them some little bits like socks and smellies etc so it all adds up,I think last year I spent about £200 on each of them:eek:

It all stems from when they were little and me and my partner never had any money so at Xmas I always felt like I needed to spoil them but could never afford it,fast forward several years and I still feel that guilt so I used my flexible friend to treat them both
My DD2 is just as bad,she really goes to town on my Xmas presents and I'm sure she does it because I'm on my own and don't have much money, she bought me this iPad a few years ago now and while I really appreciate it it's not good for any of us
This year I told them early on that my budget would be smaller and DD has DGS as well for me to buy for
DD 2 has asked for a couple of books and some pjs and socks, what a difference to her sister,DD2 told me at the beginning of the year that she thought I spent too much and to cut down and I've told her to do the same,so we will both be having an in budget Xmas this year

I've also decided that I'm just going to get DGS a couple of small things to unwrap and then I'm putting money into an account,I was going to give it to his mum but then DD2;had a brainwave and suggested I put it into an account then I can use it to either treat him to something later in the year as I see things or use it for taking him out for the day,I can't afford to do this much so a little savings plan would be a good idea I think

What a horrible experience work must have been. No wonder the NHS loses so many staff. :(
I hope you have a nice weekend to help make up for it.
