I rang in July and they backdated it to June 19th. Not a huge amount of time, but it was still backdated. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

They should backdate mine until September as that was when DD started uni and I first went in and asked about it,Im going to phone them tomorrow to see if they have the student intake lists yetOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Omg work has gone crazy,I'm so glad I'm not there tomorrow,I'm just chilling out for a bit before bed,I haven't got DGS tomorrow because his mum and dad safe on holiday this week so I've got the day off which means I can have a lie in:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
I was supposed to be going xmas shopping tomorrow but I'm leaving it until Thursday now,my friend is going through a bit of a stressful time at the moment and she wants to meet for lunch,so I'm doing that instead
I also need to tidy and polish my bedroom,I'm having a problem with mould in this room and I think it's lack of ventilation, the windows are closed a lot of the time so I'm going to try opening them more often to air it out and hope this solves the problem
I've had a rubbish day money wise today,it's my fault and is down to lack of planning and being tired yesterday,I didn't cook any tea last night so as a result I had no leftovers for work today,so I ended up spending £4 something on a sandwhich, crisps and a cake, I needed cake to make up for another crap day at work ,tomorrow I'm going to cook so I have something to take on Wednesday ,I don't want to get into the bad habit of buying lunch at work because it's a wasteOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Work sounds a bit of a nightmare.
I'm glad you get alternate days off.
Is it possible to make a couple of extra portions sometimes, to give you buffer zone when for whatever reason you don't get to cook? (Mind you if I try that I end up with one flavour of soup for ages). Or is there any mileage to having a grab bag with long-lasting snacks?
Enjoy your day off!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

:rotfl: Well, I think you were right.Of course you needed it. You probably needed a glass of wine / week off / holiday in Spain too, but did you splurge on those? No. You were very restrained. The cake is a small matter and if it got you through an hour or so, you shouldn't feel guilty.

I hope you enjoy your day off today OBL after such a difficult work day.
I hope you get your bedroom sorted out. Mould is annoying. We get some behind furniture and under windoes. But our house has cracks in the render which lets rainwater in, plus we don't put the heating on and we dry washing indoors. Taking all that into account I'm surprised we don't have more mould! Opening the windows should help as it's often due to lack of air circulation. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Hairy,I'm enjoying it so far,I didn't get up until 9am :j
I get it behind furniture normally if it's on the outside wall, but this is on the wall that joins with next door,I do use my heating but I dry washing on the radiators which is not helping, having the window open on the catch overnight is helping to keep the room from getting lots of condensation round the window and it felt fresher in there this morning,I've got the window open to air it now,I've just got to take the dog out then I need to make a start,I'm just having a cup of tea and procrastinating :rotfl:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -
