Our water bill went down this year, OBL
... admitedly only by pence per month, but most unusual. I don't know what can have come over them. Hope yours hasn't had a nasty increase.
Do you have any tiger balm? I am never without it for when headaches strike..... the white one, not the variety which colours your skin orange, lol (tho wasn't lol-ing when I once mistakenly went out with some on. White version invisible though.

I haven't tried Tiger Balm,I have Pernaton gel which is meant for muscle pain but I tried it on my forehead one day and it was really good, you have to be careful not to put too much on though because it's menthol and makes your eyes water 🙀I will have a look for the tiger balm,is it for headaches or is like the muscle rub you can get and how do I know it's the white one if that's not a stupid question 😀

I went out in the garden to sort the chickens and afterwards I ended sweeping more leaves up off all the paths and steps and it disappeared 🎉🎉

Cured my headache yesterday by going out and doing stuff in the garden 😀I swept all the steps and the path on the second level so now have the top two to do, these are smaller though so won't take as long, the garden is looking lovely and tidy where I need it to be ( ie on the patio, paths and steps ) and the 🐓🐓are happy because I have dumped all the leaves under the trees down one side for them to dig about in, the very top of my garden which can't be seen from the house is just wild and will be left that way for wildlife to live in. No one can see it as it backs onto a little lane that only leads to mine and my neighbours houses but no one really uses it anymore, it also leads to our garages so there's not reason for anyone else to go up there. My garage is rented out to my nephew and I haven't been and looked at it for years that's how often the path is used
I cooked a Gnocchi bake for tea and that will be me sorted for four nights meals so no cooking 🎉🎉🎉
Last night I watched the documentary called Finding Derek about Kate  Garroways  husband and his fight with covid 19, it was heartbreaking to watch, he is definitely making physical progress but I'm not sure about his cognitive skills or his mental health. It's going to be along time before he recovers if at all

OBL - Yes, you can use it for a rub (I think the red version might mostly be used for that, tho am not sure) It is strongly pungent.... menthol plus other stuff. It can make your nose run a bit, but that can be quite useful if it is a sinussy headache. It is sold in tiny glass pots in a little square box. It does say which version (white or red) it is on the box, but if you couldn't find this info, you could just open the box & look thru the glass to see what colour it is. I have heard that it is also used abroad for insect bites as the 'freezing' sensation on the skin stops the itching. I always get badly bitten in summer, so I am going to try it this year & see if it works. My sister has suffered from migraine since her teens & always has a pot of it in her bag. You might not get on with it at all, OBL, but it can sometimes be worth trying something new.

Thanks Foxgloves I will have a look for some next time I'm out shopping. I have used Pernaton Gel to stop itching before because it also produces a freezing sensation so the tiger balm should work the same. Some one who travels a lot gave me a tip for bites,if when you get home or near to a supply of hot water he said soak a cotton wool ball or anything else you have to hand in the hottest water you can and hold it on the bite,it needs to be almost too hot to bear and it will stop itching ,I tried this and it worked really well, you just have to be careful not to scald yourself 😀

Yay my postman's just been and I have a letter from the hospital to go for a Barium swallow test on the 8th of April, no triage by a consultant needed. I think possibly because things have calmed down at work they are getting people seen quickly now so the possible need for triage isn't there anymore. I am so relieved I haven't got to go through all my symptoms again for someone new and also haven't got to wait too long for my appointment, my GP said it should be a two week wait but will be more like 6 due to covid but I haven't had to wait long at all. Now just have to hope it's positive news when they do it
