Nice slippers! They look very cosy.

I'm glad you're feeling better. It really hit you hard, didn't it. :( Make sure you're 100% before you get back to work.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Thanks Cherry,I'm loving my new slippers 😊 I am feeling better overall but my chest is still very wheezy when I walk anywhere, I seem to be worse in the morning and get better as the day goes on.I took B out earlier and had to stop twice to get my breath back, I am still coughing but not all the time now which is a relief. I am worried that if I got so ill with just a normal chest infection what would catching the virus mean for me 🙀 mind you I think catching a cold on top of it didn't really help matters

  • Well I was hoping for another sunny day today but it's decidedly cloudy here. I have done some washing and pegged it out  because it's not actually raining and I'm hoping it will still dry.
I haven't got any house stuff to do today, I did hoover yesterday because it was getting on my nerves. I've taken B for a short walk round the block but I did have to stop a couple of times because I was out of breath, I do have to walk uphill for a bit so that doesn't help. I also woke up a few times last night because of night sweats which I'm presuming is a menopause symptom come back to bother me, they had stopped but seem to have come back which is very annoying
I was supposed to be making leek croustade today but forgot to buy nuts so I will have to make it tomorrow instead 🙄I'm going to make Honey and mustard chicken instead  to have with carrots, swede and Brussel sprouts 😍😍
Im also going to make some ginger biscuits after I've had my lunch 😊

Oooh OBL, I love making biscuits. They are one of my favourite things to bake.

2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
    2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!

I like making biscuits because they are quick and easy 😀 peanut butter cookies are my favourite to make but I don't make them very often because we eat them too fast 😀

Looks lovely and rather autumnal with the leaves. I hope you’re not getting what I had with the lost appetite, nausea and stomach cramps because it was dreadful 😩 It followed a few days of cold symptoms.

Oh god I hope not, I did have a crampy stomach the night before last but it didn't come to anything
I've noticed the leaves starting to change colour and drop this week so autumn is definitely on its way 😊
