My journey to a debt free life

Bit of a slow start this morning,it is Sunday after all,Ive been looking at Pinterest and have found some really good ideas for turning the two pallets I have in my garden into planters for veg, thats going to be a project for this spring hopefully, the garden needs a good tidy so that comes first
Today is supposed to be clean the chicken run day but I;ve woken up to the most miserable weather, just horrible drizzly rain and fog so Im not sure it will get done as I have to let them run round the garden while I do it and I dont want them out in the rain, they wont take shelter they will just stand in the rain getting wet
First job on the agenda is to take the dog out,she wont be impressed with the weather either but that cant be helped and she will have to wear her coat which she hates ,I need to get out for some fresh air as Im fed up of being indoors, then later Im going to crack on with some sewing
So that my day planned out for todayOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Oh dear a had a bit of a sad day here today,I went out to clean out the chickens and one of them (Blanch) had died in the night, she was elderly and it was expected but it always so sad when I lose one of my ladies, she was a beautiful girl (Light Sussex breed) and was always coming into the house for a look round and to try and have a dust bath in the cats litter tray, she was a bird I rescued from a family who were going to cull her because their other birds were bullying her,my niece does their garden and told me about her so I gave her a home,I will miss seeing her little face at the back door
We took the dog on a lovely long walk along the river and although it drizzled the whole way round it was nice to get out for a walk
DD then cooked us a roast dinner and I have then sent a couple of hours on here reading diaries,I am hooked on TOPMs diary at the moment as I love the way she writes and how busy she is,Im currently up to page 70 and I am hoping to make it to the end one day although it seems to move really fast so Im not sure I will ever catch up
Im going to log off now as I am feeling really lazy spending most of my afternoon on here,so I have washing to hang up and then SEWING :jOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

It's always sad to lose an animal... Blanch sounds like a little character and you will miss her company. My mum had a duck that used to sit under her chair in the kitchen... memories.
I enjoy TOPM's diary too: it does move on quickly but it's well worth a read. Have you got up to the washing up bowl saga yet?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Although I do admire your self restraint during the whole washing up bowl sagaOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Well today hasnt been the best day ever,it started of ok with a day spent with my DD and my GS bun then I got a phone call from my mum to say my Dad had been taken to hospital, they have both been ill with the same cold I have had, mum took my advice and went to the doctors last week and was given antibiotics and is now recovering, but my Dad who is a very difficult person sometimes refused to go and so now he is in hospital with fluid in his lungs etc etc etc,so I had an unscheduled trip to work to take some bits in for him as they have kept him in,I didnt bet back until late and so the food I had planned to cook didnt get cooked and I ended up with pizza for tea, I was there yesterday for 12 hours and Im there tomorrow for 12 hours so I really needed my day off to be relaxing but alas it wasnt meant to be
Then when I got there he launched into a tirade about this was why he didnt want to go to the doctors because he new he would end up in hospital..........erm no if you had gone to the doctors when I told you to you would have been given antibiotics the same as mum and you would be getting better now....................and breathOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200
