I am super chuffed with myself today.
Felt like drinking when I got in last night, but I said to myself if I felt like drinking after a cup of tea, then I would just have some. As life is too short.
I still felt like some after the tea, but instead of having wine, opened a can of fizzy orange and said if I still felt like wine after the fizzy drink, I would open the bottle after I put the kids to bed.
And I didn't. Because the craving had pretty much gone and what is the point in opening a bottle of wine after 8.45pm when I could just do without?
So I think I will try this strategy most days. That way it doesn't feel like I'm depriving myself. More like distracting myself and if the distractions don't work, then have a drink.
I'm up to 13 including today. Counting today early as I'm on a fast day.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

It's definitely not a good thing that I have a great chippy just along from my accommodation up north!! It's literally 100yards from my front door, next door to the pub! Talk about resisting temptation!!!!hey lucky fatrab if your local chippy does good chips - I have had some very underdone chips in my time :mad:You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!
