I drank last night (hangs head in shame). Not entirely sure why, just felt like it.

I didn't go mad (but I would imagine that the 5 double vodkas I did drink would make some people go arggghhh!, but they just went down so lovely and quickly!).

I'm feeling fine today, feeling quite proud that I didn't start on anything else in the house.

My 10 year saw me drinking what she assumed was coke and asked for some and I handed her the glass and informed her what was in it. She said she would try it - I have never stopped them trying as usually they hate it - but she said she liked it!

But she did say she would put less vodka in it. Haha. How about just having a diet coke then?

    HI HB,

Sorry you are struggling to lose weight. Are you following an eating plan like Slimming World? Maman and I have both lost and maintained following this method. I know there are loads of different ideas and plans out there, it's just finding one you feel comfortable with. I don't actually attend the class, I just use the support thread on MSE, and follow the literature.

    Anyhoo "food for thought":D

    I know, I know - it's tough isn't it?

In all this talk of dieting someone mentioned a food diary - I've had success with this before calorie counting- so I managed to record everything yesterday and today. I just make a note of it in notes on my phone - then pop it on a spreadsheet when I have a minute...

...we will see if this kick starts some weight loss here....

Some progress on our leaking central heating system - BG have agreed to send a leak detection team in (fingers crossed that they find the leak)....
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

16/20 and 3SNC but intending to drink tonight following the latest in a series of truly awful days at work. Much as I would love to name and shame my employers I had better not. Very aware this isn't a good response to the issues - please call me on this if I have a drink tomorrow - but for tonight, I am going to drink a couple of glasses of wine, not a bottle.

I've been busy today, so am glad to be plonked on my sofa with the dog and a glass of fizzy water.

14/20 today, and 3 on the SNC. I'm looking forward to an early night.

67.7 kgs which makes absolutely no sense after the number of Madelaines I ate yesterday because I was so disappointed by the 68 kgs. I really am very confused by this. Relieved, obviously, but very confused.

I won't be posting for a few days as we're having a long weekend in London and I'm not taking my computer and I don't have a smartphone, so I'l be out of touch completely with the world of t'internet.

    21/31 please, Shaggy.
