Feel rotten , not happy with new man ,,,,,, not sure if it’s just me being a bit sensitive or he trying to slightly distance himself from me ,,,,,,?
Time will tell , he has had a great lot of muck to deal with lately and I’m normally very supportive, but this week I could have done with him on my side a bit more ,,, :((

Well done for achieving despite the problems. You're right that drinking wouldn't make it any better. :)

    That's quite a family success shaggy . :T
Thanks for putting me on the February list. :)

    Hello
I've settled in for the evening in my pyjamas so am calling 19/15 today. This is the longest AF 'streak' I've had for a long time, 8 days in s row, and I feeel great. I'm loving having a clear head in the morning.

Well done Annie, it sounded as though you were having such a tough week and you got through it, and I couldn't agree more, I love the sound sleeps and clear-headedness I get with AFDs too.

Well done loveasale for resisting too - and Shaggy for getting the whole family onto Dry January! :)

Thank you all ! Yes I’m feeling much better , rather smug and clear headed this morning ,, early start as big day out with man at races , I’ve offered to drive,, but the lot will are with are huge drinkers ,,, so I feel the white lie of antibiotics may have to be used ,,,, these people wouldn’t understand why you’d ever want to not drink,,,, !
I also try not to give much away ,,, but as my journey unfolds it is hard not to give background on why I’m here in the first place !!
Wish m luck luck on my first dry Sunday since ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, oh my days I rally can NOT remember last time I didn’t have a drink on a Sunday ,,, eek

    27/25 AFDs today
  • Sorry to hear things are tricky with your new bloke, Loveasale. Good news on the coat though.

Declaring early today at 26/25 so have met my target for the month :).

Shaggy: can you put me down for 25 days in Feb? I like having the leeway of a few days to drink if the occasion arises.
  • Good luck Lovasale. Hope you get through today without too much nagging from the others. x

  • 13 please, Shaggy, ta. And target of 23 for February please

I have had worst AFD/units January for years - but I celebrated a big birthday this month and went on a wonderful holiday... I will make up for it in Feb.

Does anybody else count their units per month too?
