What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Anybody else trying to cut down on booze for money reasons? I've spent £12 on booze so far this month - all on beer for guests and OH...pleased though...

  • 12/25 and 1/5 today :)

That's one of my goals Shaggy - I've gradually stopped buying booze for DH too, it's easier when not drinking for him to realise he needs to buy his own. If we are round a friend's house I now bring soft drinks for me and the kids and usually snacks. No one has objected so far!

I did at the start of the year. I had to calm it down partly because drink was taking over and becoming the norm, but the cost was a big part of it too. I was frittering £600 per month and I didn't know where it was going. Drink, take-aways and general snacking were to blame.

11/26 and 2/5 SNC for today please. Will probably be going for a drink on Saturday as my mate is up from North Wales for the football so if I know that's on the horizon I'm going to be squeaky clean until then :)
You can have results or excuses, but not both.
Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!
