  • 12/21 for me and aiming for two bouncy people at the weekend :).

Annie it sounds v stressful and a bit of a reset might well help. Can you replace with a positive habit? I've got back into drinking nice herbal teas (not the vaguely fruit flavoured ones but things like lavender and white tea).
  • Good morning everyone.

12/31 for October and 1/2 for the weekend, please.

Weather's cold, wet and very windy here - hope everyone keeps safe and well this weekend.

Thanks, it is stressful but I also feel a little bit like I'm on holiday, no alarm clock so why not have a drink?
I like fizzy water, and I like jasmine tea so I'll go and get some of that this morning. I feel rubbish, can't wait for a non hungover morning tomorrow!

(((Hugs))) AnnieG. The secret is not to have the first one. I know it sounds obvious, but I spent years thinking I would stop after one and I never, ever did. If you can get past the urge by drinking something else as Glenda SB suggests, or doing something else as Shaggy suggests, it will really help. When I stopped completely I used to go to bed really, really early and read - sometimes AF blogs, sometimes novels, sometimes books by women who had sobered up, sociology text books, whatever interested me that day. I spent a lot of time at my local library scouring the shelves for anything that would distract me, basically.

    13/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
