I've had a sober Saturday and feel very happy about it. Almost got wine earlier but stopped myself and have had several cups of tea and some orange squash with fizzy water. 6/21 for me ��
Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words, I think I need to acknowledge that drinking is problematic for me and really try and stop.

ETA I'll go for the full 5 on next week's SNC please

Well done, AnnieG. Every day that you don't drink is a victory. I'm convinced that the booze habit is even tougher to crack than cigarettes. You'll get there as long as you keep plugging away and racking up Victory Days. Each one makes the next one easier.

Thank you Honey Bear... to my shame I also restarted smoking while I was overseas because it was so cheap (a pound for 20 Marlboro lights). I only smoke when I drink so hope to get rid of 2 bad habits for the price of one!
