  • Morning all

14 please Shaggy and 2 for the SNC :)

Shaggy - hope you enjoy the SW magazine. I must admit I do like a lot of their recipes and enjoy cooking the SW way (although I don't think anyone could ever convince me to eat Quark _pale_)

A good day yesterday..back to the gym for the first time in ages and it made me feel quite positive. So stayed on track food wise and no urges for wine at all.

You guys are clearly having an influence on me...

...something fell in my shopping basket for tonight.....

    ....a slimming world magazine!

I have bought this month's magazine too Shaggy as a surplus 1/2 stone seems to have crept on over the Summer :( - I used to buy it all the time and found some good recipes & meal plan ideas in there :)

Declaring early for today on 11/12

I felt the same about quark, but at last weeks group they were saying the flavoured ones are nicer so I'm willing to give them a go. It's on this weeks shopping list! I'll let you know.....
You can have results or excuses, but not both.

Undecided about AF today so I'll hold back on posting. I'm out for lunch so I may have a glass.:)

Good to know that the SW word is spreading (rather than waistlines;)). The magazines are good but loads of recipes are online too. I'd recommend anyone to try one of their 7 day meal plans (on SW site or in every magazine).

    P.S. I've never eaten quark. It's not compulsory.:D

    Re Piggles

She was doing so well and this thread seem to be helping her so much. Then she got rehoused into that mouse infested flat and things went backwards on the AF front....I felt so sorry for her....so sad.

I was thinking about her because I have felt odd over the last six months; whilst I did feel like we were creating a home, I haven't felt like I "have" a home and I found it all more unsettling than I had imagined. Makes you think about what a home is. Then, just as I was feeling like I had a home, a mouse turned up and unsettled me all over again.

Anyways, THE BUILDERS HAVE GONE. Last job done this morning.....over the moon is an understatement.

AF last night and tonight. Feeling good. No desire to celebrate the builders departure with a drink - a cup of decaf tea and a read in bed is all I want.. in a bedroom that feels like home....
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Brilliant news, Shaggy. Big *sigh* of relief all round. Our plumbers came back today to deal with last week's snags. It'll be a fortnight before they return to finish off, but they've dealt with the really annoying stuff.

    19/30 please.
    Better is good enough.
