Everyone Welcome Anytime of the Month!
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

HoneyBear - Are you going from conventional boiler to a combi?

It happens, Delighted Mum. You'll know for next time that Piglet needs to run that errand more than you do.

    Fantastically well done!

I, on the other hand, have put some on, which is entirely due to the fact that the plumbers seem to be living on the biscuits I'm buying for them and I don't seem to be able to resist helping myself whenever I'm in the kitchen. And the fact that I've suddenly developed the habit of buying myself a £1 bar of Gal*xy chocolate in the afternoon and scoffing it seems to be somewhere in the equation, too. *sigh*

I know right! There have been points where I have felt like we were losing more than we were gaining.....nearly at the end now....it's just getting them to finish off....

Late last week I began to think the whole thing was a mistake. Everything feels like failure in the middle, right?

We're going from one combi, which has been brilliant but had a persistent fault on it since it was installed, to a condensing combi boiler. We're also moving it to a slightly different place in the kitchen which is a 'thing' in itself.

I've sent OH out for more biscuits.

    17/30 please.
    Better is good enough.

Have you been in A$da recently? They've got the huge bars on offer again (I think they're £2.25 iirc), spotted them yesterday but managed to resist. It's the only mainstream sweetie that I have a soft spot for. I have to avoid Hotel Choc whenever I'm in Glasgow as I cannot resist their dark chocolate bars :naughty:
You can have results or excuses, but not both.

Been there got that T Shirt. Having put an end to the £1 chocolate I've recently got into the habit of buying trifle! I must put an end to this....

I know, I know....I feel your pain....everything sounds so simple....will just move that from there to there......

Huge sympathy HB & Shaggydoo, I’m dreading our ‘simple’ bathroom work coming up next year!

A great weekend for me. One 125 ml glass of red wine on Saturday and no alcohol yesterday, which wasn’t planned. 6/10 and 1 for the SNC already please Shaggy.

    Love those dancing Homers!
  • Congratulations on your amazing SW result Fatrab!

That's fantastic news fatrab. Delighted for you!:T

Don't beat yourself up MissP. You're doing really well. Just think you must have saved up to £70 this month along with the calories you haven't wasted.:)

Birthday celebrations continue here for DH and today for DGD. I will be back on the wagon tomorrow though and I will make my target this month. Just not yet.:)
