What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Fatrab, they do say that if you eat off smaller plates you'll serve yourself less food, so perhaps invest in a set of dessert plates (usually 9in, as opposed to 12in dinner plates)? Or you could even try using bread and butter plates (though to me that would suggest I needed seconds!)
I just need to cut down to reasonable sized portions when I'm cooking the food but I get what you mean. I try to make enough for 4 portions every time I cook so that I have enough for next day's lunch, but that seems to end up as 4 big portions - probably enough to feed 6! Maybe I need to invest in better kitchen scales and start my own cooking scrapbook....

Apologies for going AWOL but life is getting in the way here. It was my Wedding Anniversary yesterday and visitors coming tomorrow for a couple of days. Today is AF though.:)

8/10 AFDs please Shaggy and I definitely plan to be past of a School Night Challenge next week.

P.S. When I first joined the thread fatrab it was to cut down my drinking ready for weightloss. I knew it wouldn't be enough on its own though. I follow Slimming World. It's really a healthy eating plan with measured treats. The bonus is that you can eat as much as you like of the healthy stuff. There's a sample 7 day menu on the SW site you might want to look at. It really does work. I've been at my target weight for 7 years.:D

2/7 AF days, still on it though a bit slow!

Had the most stressful week with our housebuild, no one seems to want to deliver anything to us, they see the hill and track and turn around. 3 failed deliveries yesterday. The target of being in by Xmas is slipping away................. :(

I'm afraid in my case there were no visible signs of struggle :rotfl:

Nor mine if I'm strictly honest, although there are moments when I struggle with whether I have one chocolate ginger biscuit or two! Two usually wins; it's a pretty uneven struggle. :rotfl:

    Happy anniversary, Maman!

    15/31 please, Shaggy.
    Better is good enough.
