Fatrab, they do say that if you eat off smaller plates you'll serve yourself less food, so perhaps invest in a set of dessert plates (usually 9in, as opposed to 12in dinner plates)? Or you could even try using bread and butter plates (though to me that would suggest I needed seconds!)You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Apologies for going AWOL but life is getting in the way here. It was my Wedding Anniversary yesterday and visitors coming tomorrow for a couple of days. Today is AF though.:)

P.S. When I first joined the thread fatrab it was to cut down my drinking ready for weightloss. I knew it wouldn't be enough on its own though. I follow Slimming World. It's really a healthy eating plan with measured treats. The bonus is that you can eat as much as you like of the healthy stuff. There's a sample 7 day menu on the SW site you might want to look at. It really does work. I've been at my target weight for 7 years.:D0 -

2/7 AF days, still on it though a bit slow!
Had the most stressful week with our housebuild, no one seems to want to deliver anything to us, they see the hill and track and turn around. 3 failed deliveries yesterday. The target of being in by Xmas is slipping away.................0 -
I'm afraid in my case there were no visible signs of struggle :rotfl:
Nor mine if I'm strictly honest, although there are moments when I struggle with whether I have one chocolate ginger biscuit or two! Two usually wins; it's a pretty uneven struggle. :rotfl:
